Oh no! Sorry to hear about the boo-boos! I guess it means people were still jacked up after what sounds like was an awesome show.

I just got an iPod Touch and the touch typing on the virtual keypad is indeed challenging even when I'm wearing glasses or contacts while sober. But it is super cool especially now that I've jailbroken mine and can install whatever I want on there.

Ha! What would *really* be funny is if it turned out she had been stone cold sober the entire time, only her IPhone (as IPhones do) had learned to interpret her typings in hilariously distorted ways...

Tho something tells me that is likely not the case. Glad to hear our girls had a great time. I'm sure the photos will be fabulous...
Actually, Chatchka wasn't drunk -- She didn't bring her glasses, and she couldn't see to text!
First words out of his mouth: "I am so sorry! I wasn't paying attention! Wasn't that an awesome concert!!!!"

Actually, he was really nice. Said he had been a fan since 1979. We all talked a bit while the officer wrote the report. We felt bad because the officer was going to give him a very expensive citation, so we tried to be as nice as possible.

I will have to let Bry free later so that he can post more.

Well, had a weird night's sleep. My neck's a little sore from the accident. We started calling him "Sting fan" right after he hit us, but he never really showed a major preference. :)

The officer was a little annoying. We wanted a police report (lower-case p) for insurance purposes, but the officer really didn't want to write it and that made us look like the bad guys:

Officer: If you guys just want to work it out yourselves, I won't have to give anyone a ticket.

Stingfan: I'll pay for everything. Don't worry, I'll give you my info.

Rancid Date: Umm, I work for a police department, and we need an accident report.

Stingfan: Come on!! This is already going to cost me a fortune!!

Officer: I'll be in my car writing the report, come get me if you change your mind.

So we felt like jerks, but I've known too many cases where no report=no money. He did calm down and we started talking about the show. In the end I ended up giving him a CDR of Police rarities I had in the car and he was pretty thankful for that since he hadn't heard anything but the albums.

My tailgate is pushed in and I need to call and see about deductables and all. The show buzz kinda kept me from really freaking out about my poor Soobie.

Anyhoo, had a great time at Spectators, got to sign the flag, and chat with everyone. Our seats were in a section that was up high, but had a good view and it was nice that I didn't have a stack of speakers pointed directly at me.

During Roxanne, I became completely distracted by a girl in the floor section. She was waving glo-sticks in the air and dancing toward the stage. The bouncers would spot her and force her toward the back of the floor where she'd promptly choose a different aisle and dance toward the stage again. That happened over and over and I just found it highly amusing for some reason.

Anyway, great show! Sting said they last played Orlando in '83 "when you were 10." There was a good bit of clowning around and Sting and Stewart were impatiently waiting for Andy to join them for the bow and Stewart broke into a little Klark Kent dance for a second.

The only down side is that the Sting fans have decided to take out our means of transport. They won't get rid of us that easily! Mwaaahaahaha!

Is that what this:

is about?

Thanks for the report, Bry. Good luck with the car, and you two please get yourselves inspected and tuned up as well. You don't want to be messing with any possible back/neck/spine badness.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Oh.My.Gong. I *love* the silly, irreverent goofiness of that shot. Love. Love. Love.

I'm glad you are all safe and at least physically sound (the mental soundness of all of the Nutters is always up for debate, right?).

I also love.love.love that we misinterpreted Chatchka's aging eyes as drunkenness! That one hits a little close to home.

This is some of the best secondhand joy evah.

Reading this thread really brightened up my lunch hour!

Chatchka you rock! Thank you for your dedicated reporting. I can totally relate to your texting/spelling in the dark dilemma. I'm not young enough to deal with those tiny buttons myself.
