I'm currently sampling Greg Dulli (ex-Afghan Whgis) and Mark Lanegan's great new project the Gutter Twins: http://3voor12.vpro.nl/speler/luisterpaal/39261992 . They're playing at the 9:30 club tonight but I didn't find out about it until last night and I didn't have enough time to take leave :(

oh, and earlier 'i am robot', and 'the chemical brothers' (natch), and some ,early 'joe jackson', 'clash', 'aphex twin', 'manic street preachers', 'klark', erm, some trancey euro stuff, some anvil bangin' techno, 'joni mitchell', 'beastie boys' and whats'ername doing the tom wait covers, johansson (sounds shit) and 'saint etienne'.........

SJR's delightful stuff, and because I finally purloined a work computer which can handle it, all of some rejigged stuff recorded originally by a band we thought were defunct until last year, remixed by someone who I won't mention, because record label copyright twits can't tell the difference between an homage and an infringement.

just the normal two... friday night started early.
