Flag Drama II: Electric Boogaloo (aka Yo, Stewart?)

Well, I remember something Stewart said: I am loud and shallow and Sting is quiet and deep.

I quess Sting fans are deep then.
You guess?? Do you really think Stewart is shallow, then? (No question about Loud)...
Therefore, The Bard, from the Depth of His Immense Ennui and Ivory Tower, must have produced Deep, Bored, Fickle, Brothel-loving, Yoga Scrotum Showing fans... :P
No I wasn't saying anything like that. Maybe I should have put a smiley behind it, it was just a joke.

And again with the Madge! Listen, M.C. Sybil. You can call me Madgrad. You can call me MG. You can call me MadG. You can call me plain old Mad (really like that one-- thanks again, DM). You can even call me Carrie if you really want to. Just not feelin' the Madge. You dig? 8)
Yo, juss'sayin, y'know?
Don't know nuthin' bout you not diggin'Madonna...
Carrie! WOW! How Sex And The City! Love that!!!

(let me be your Miranda!)
I like 80s Madonna-- not such a big fan after she became Madge, tho. Hey, I was Carrie long before SATC existed (love that show, BTW). Would LOVE to have a body like SJP, but that's just never gonna happen on my 5' 10 " frame. :?

Well, must say I was never a fan (in fact I only love 2 Madonna songs, Ray of Light and Don't tell me), but I like "Madge" as a sound. I don't even know why they started calling her Madge.

How does it feel to be that tall??

I think the Madge thing started when Madonna moved to London.

As for being tall, when I was younger and still taller than most guys I felt very self-conscious, but I got over that a long time ago.

Just how short are you, lil' T? I think you've said, but I can't remember. Under 5'5''? There are plusses and minuses to both (being tall and being short), like anything.

I'm exactly 5'5". I never had the notion of being short until I moved to America. Then I started hearing people telling me "sure, you're kind of petite" or "do you ever wear heels?" :?:
I started to feel the pain more, though, going to concerts here.
All the people here seem to be taller than me - except for a couple of friends.

So it's not like I'm a midget, but I became self-conscious about it. My husband is, like 5'8", so we make a nice little couple of hobbits.
