'Out of Bounds' stewart with adam ant 1986?

i have a copy of a video downloaded from stewartcopeland.net a couple of years ago.
the songs features stewart singing taking some verses and chorus with adam ant also singing.
the video is jokey; on board a sailing ship the high seas, a few buxom wenches and lots of joking around, stewart wearing a tricorn hat and early 19th century ala Nelson, uniform, playing about with telescopes, etc
the sing itself is a bit like stewarts' "stay ready" track, lots of rhythmic guitars and pizzicatto bass......

i've got a copy on disc and will work out a way to get it on the net somewhere for y'all to enjoy.(as soon as my PC at home is fixed).. but, my question is this; where does this tune come from; does anyone else know?

It was a mid-eighties single I think. Not a hit as far as I know.

It's from the movie of the same name starring Anthony Michael Hall. Released in 1986. Stew did the music and a couple of his tunes turn up on the soundtrack album: The title track (with Adam Ant) and another instrumental called "Zola X."

The movie is not bad. Thriller - country boy moves to LA and picks up sleazy drug dealer's bag by mistake - meets wild girl - spends most of the film on the run from the drug dealer.

The soundtrack album is likewise ok. Lots of variety, typical 80's mix of punk and pop.

I always thought Stew was actually playing double bass drum on the tune. Then I figured out that it was the Fairlight. It's still a great part, though. It was one of the first things I worked on when I got a double pedal. He recycles that lick in "Don't Stand 86." It's the first thing you hear. Sting's drummer played it when they did the song on the "Nothing Like the Sun" tour.
