What are you going to do until your show (FC or other)??
Going to do a whole heap of work and a whole heap of travel planning. Plus, I've still got 20 bad poems to write. I think I'm going to get Andy's book to read on the plane -- so thanks for the reminder, SS.
I finally read it a month ago. I really loved it. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any Dantalion's Chariot anywhere.

I just finished it. It's full of interesting tidbits about the boys and their lives in and outside of the band. I have a great pictorial/visual documentary book by Miles Copeland that has tons of pictures I could reference to as I was reading Andy's book. 8)

Oh, no no no, Caligula. As one of our resident Vancouvers (Vancouver-ers?), you don't get to sleep. You're on Police Watch for the next 19 days. Best get caffeinated!
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

"Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
Ill be watching you"

Anyone know if there's an official Show Review section over at TPT? I know we'll have more than a few of them covered here, but they *do* have a bigger userbase...

I'm dying to find out if they're going to issue recordings of each show. Can you imagine?! Fresh sounds every day or two?!!!!!

(I can just imagine STEWART in here trying to dial down our expectations...but I think it's great he does that kind of thing...but I personally will be trying to get my hands on as many live recordings from this tour as possible, even if the setlist is identical for a few nights in a row.)

Well if Stewart tries to dial down expectations we'll just have to rejoin with a clip of him saying the burn-down-your-world type statements...heh kinda like how the Rehearsals began with the certified-insane clip from Sting...heh...well sanity's overrated and those who are sane are just driven mad by the world...may as well just cut out the middle-man and start there <grin>

Think I saw somewhere about TPT planning on another section of the board for shows, can't recall where I saw that (errr, I mean where on TPT, of course) but I will make sure to post in both places...maybe we could also get another section of this board for 2007-2008 shows...I'd hate to ask for anymore here (Team italia already does so much, thank you!!!) but just an idea if it doesn't take too much trouble...

What am I doing until the Toronto shows?

trying not think but I do
flying off the handle a time or two
listening to bootleg shows
making sure everyone knows
hoping that they are doin well
as the arrangements start to gell
as we Coplandians type with fury
sweating in a snow flurry
diggin through my Police stuff
tried to quit but then I puff
making me feel like a kinda slime
hearing the drum fills from No Time
but the thoughts return time again
I might try Yogo goin all Zen
they all do it why shouldn't we
they're just the guys were goin ta see
I have to end this fer-sure it's true
...apparently typing is all that I do.

I don't even know why I typed that. I gues I am quietly FREAKING OUT!!!

AAAHhhHHHHhhhhhHHHHHHHHH TIME is a Bastard !!!!

Cheers everyone!, sorry for the poem thing...I ain't no Dirty Martini, but I could use a drink. HA !

I'm going to spend the next 4 months driving myself profoundly nuts reading all your reviews and reports from the shows... until at last it is MY TURN! C'MON TWICKERS!!!

Edit: I'll also be spending the time hunting down those damned elusive white shorts...

Did I ever tell you guys I have a special pair of yellow two stripe tube socks that I was given by a fan back in my band days? From then on I ALWAYS wore them to any show I ever played. And yes, I hiked the crap out of them.
I also went as Stewart Copeland to an 80's themed party once too. :)

What am I doing before I see them on June 29th? Trying not to think about it too much, trying to keep my mind off of them, and not listening to them on the ol iPod. When I do make the time to play the drums, I've even been shying away from the boys. Plus I have plenty of house work to do- I finally finished moving the upstairs office and combining it with our guest bedroom to make a new "Big Girl Room" for my 2.5yr old daughter. Painted it pink and orange, and it's hawaiian monkey themed. Now that we've successfully moved her into the room and she's actually sleeping in her bed I can start on getting the Nursery redone for the impending boy that's due in August. Then there's the surprise baby shower I'm throwing for the wife which means I'm secretly cleaning the crap out of the house, and let's not forget about the yard work! Summer is here in Houston and things are starting to look jungle like if you don't keep up with it...

I really don't know how some of you folks over in Europe can possible stand the wait you have till you get to see them!!
