Just some advise please.

Okay this about buying tickets.

I am scared of buying tickets over the net, never done it before.

The presale are not good for me mainly I can not afford the price by joining, not because of the price, if you know what I mean. I have to choose what I really want out of this. The concert also DVD's which I really want and new releases and we are an one income family which we choose. No real issue with that, so I have to be reasonable.

The question is do I order over the Internet or buy tickets over the counter. If the Internet is like the presale that starts at ten while the shops open at nine it seems better to buy over the counter for I do not want to be stuck out the back watching the screen.

Has anyone bought the gold or silver tickets and if so what's the prices are they asking. I know the tickets for Australia won't be to later but I want to be prepared.

This means the world to me.

I have never done this before I trust you guys to ask what is the best way to go unless Stewart want me to be on stage wiping his brow and passing bottles of water, heheh!( dreaming again) However this is a dream come true for me.

I am getting a Police programme from the 1979 for Mother's day and couldn't be happy and my family thinks I am mad. Maybe I am but I am hoping you guys will understand what this means to me.

I am no fluff head or they can fart and that's okay, I love my boys and they give me so much pleasure and I am not apologising for that and my worst nightmare is missing out on their tour.

Hi Visions; I don't blame you for being hesitant about buying tickets over the internet. My advice would be to go in person and do this old school. Particularly if there is a 1 hour time lapse between the shop openening at 9 and the internet presale starting at 10. That hour could make all the difference in the world. Both concerts here in Vancouver sold out in just 40 minutes or so. :D
If you do decide to try this online, make sure you are a registered user with your local ticket provider prior to sales. In my case that would be Ticketbastard (Ticketmaster) and I have found that if I'm logged on to their site slightly ahead of the start time you can gain access to seats easier than a non registered user. I was able to get primo seats for the up coming Roger Waters show in June by doing this.:D
I've got a concert program from the Ghost In The Machine, North America Tour and the Syncronicity 1983 Tour. You are truly getting a fantastic Mother's day gift and all of us understand what it means to you! I'm giving my wife FC show tickets for Mother's Day, only catch is she has to take me! :D
Best of luck with your tickets, keep us posted with your progress. 8) 8) 8)

Now THAT is a great idea! ;)

No idea what to tell you, visions, since most likely the US and AU versions of Ticketbastard work differently. But I'll back up the idea that it would probably be a good plan to go in person if the brick and mortar sales start an hour earlier. Can you camp out for tickets?! Take photos if you do!

(Oh, and get there really early for a good spot in line...it really might not be a bad idea to actually camp.)
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Camping? me? never and I can hear my family roaring with laughter and sad to say my joints could not handle it. i suffer from rheumatoid arthritis so i am really hoping for a arena that has seating to rest my poor old bones when need to ,not a open football ground like they did last time they were in Melbourne. Then again I'll be on such a high I probably be floating and it wont be an issue. We also have ticket master and I am pretty sure they also open at nine. I'll going to give it a try and take your advise and thank you all.

The programme I am getting is the regatta de tour from the Australian concert, brand new and it's so tempting to have a peek but I am behaving myself and resealed the package it came in.

By the way Caligula your wife is so lucky and what a catch!!
