Welcome to Tokyo, Stewart !

Welcome to Tokyo, Stewart !

Postby Uccellina on 25 Mar 2007 04:40

Finally (how many years have passed since then?), Stewart is coming to Tokyo!
I bought a ticket for the theater, the very first day when he is to show himself on stage after the movie, wow!
Ideal seat I've got to see "real" Stewart for the first time; center section / front row / stage right /aisle.
What you gonna do if HE is only a little bit away from you? Well, we (with my friend) will try waving hands a little bit......
Anyway, we've all been waiting him this long, thank him for the visit, hope he'll have a pleasant time here in Japan.

Uccellina, for someone in the front row, short-shorts and tube socks would make for instant recognition.

Have fun!
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

And you can mention to Stewart that you are part of this great forum...if you can tell him your nickname, he may remember it as it happened for many others....

Ah, thank you very much Hannah, for your nice words to me!

As a matter of fact, if I'll be in some Stewart presentation of anything, I know I never intend to stay close to him and tell...

-Hello, I am georgygirl from your Italian site!.

What a beard, this is too much for me.

When I was journalist I always try to stay close to many artists to interview them, and now when I saw some public personalities I like to be close to these people. Two years ago, my daughter Angie was in a gymnastic competition, and there was Alexei Nemov in the same hotel as us, and I took a nice photo from my daughter and him.

But try to do the same with Stewart...

I can´t, I can´t, I can´t stand close to him :!:

Thank you for the replies!

Divemistress, yes I wonder who else in Japan(besides Midori and I) is reading this board. I'm curious about the Punkspring show, too. (but I haven't got a ticket)

Laz, thank you for your advice, I might be shy 20~25 years ago, and now that I 'm modestly grown up LADY (haha 8) ), a VERY kind suggestion of
DirtyMartini's "wearing short-shorts and tube socks" is TOO COOL (only here?) for me,
only Hannaha wears them right you all know!

And thank you too Lara, I'll keep in mind Giovanni's word and try what I can.
So, I re-read the pamphlet of the movie (which I've got at the preview show last time), there's an interview of Stewart saying that he is coming to Japan with his daughter(not sure now),
she is a "MANGA-OTAKU"(< is this word well known abroad? = a Japanese comic freak) and he's expecting us Japanese to greet them in the costume of the comic-characters
I wonder what character does she like most, then I will.....NO,NO, I definitely don't need the answer from him this time. If I had a girl like Georgy does, I would make her dressed up......

Well, well, I'll enjoy the movie again!

I know! I'm so jealous of her. I'm thinking a skirt with tube socks might be the closest compromise that I'll be able to manage.

Have a great time!
