D'Drum Update: Stewart In Dallas

Just wanted to let you know the latest from D'Drum and the upcoming Gamelan D'Drum performance with the Dallas Symphony. Stewart has been in Dallas since last weekend; the main reason for his visit was not to see Sting perform (his date here was a coincidence), but to work with D'Drum in the studio.

This week Stewart has been recording the percussion group's parts at Palmyra Studios in Palmer, Texas (http://www.palmyrastudios.com) so he can take them back to his studio and finalize the orchestrations. It has been a long week already, as they have recorded from morning to evening getting each movement, part, note and nuance perfect.

Plenty of video has been shot and photos taken, so stay tuned for some exclusive content.

It's mostly pre-production. They were playing along to Stewart's orchestral samples. Doesn't rule out a recording of the performance though!
