I really like the little glossary of people in the back. But, I wondered if Dietmar shouldn't have been included. WE all know who Big D is, but 'people reading the disaster gig blog might be thinking, "Who's Dietmar and why is he going to string them up?"

Totally agree. That's what jumped out at me when I read the book. We NEED an SC description of Dietmar!

Hi Melisa,

Right off the top of my head, I recall seeing a mis-spelling of Stewart's co-star "Tisch" in the Rhythmatist movie. On page 60, it's spelled both "Tisch" and "Tish." I believe "Tisch" is the correct spelling. Might not be a bad idea to put her last name in there, as well.

I am not sure if someone else mentioned this, but on p. 22, the score of Rumble Fish was recorded in 1983, I believe, not 1985.

On page 264 there are more of those marginal floating numbers that samburusunset mentioned. Thanks for giving me a good excuse to reread some of the book. It really is a terrific read.

Hi Melisa,

I found the typo. It's on page 64 of the US version in the Rhythmatist chapter. Stewart is talking about Khalid Khashoggi's game reserve and ex-polo pony. A few sentences later the name is spelled "Kahlid."

I don't understand why the Eberhard Schoener chapter is in the reunion section of the book. It seems out of place there. Eberhard had already "set them free" 30 years before so I think it should go somewhere around "Tagging London" and "Klark Kent." BUT, I'm not in Stewart's head. Perhaps there's a good reason he put it there that I don't get.

Just another little nit-picky thing that a 'normal' fan wouldn't notice (and probably not care), the Halloween pic on page 289 is in the Singapore chapter. All us uber reunion geeks know the Halloween show was in NYC. But, it's a cool pic and maybe there wasn't any place else to put it ??

Ha! Yeah, I have three as well (US, UK, audiobook), so I guess I'll wind up with four. It's all good.

I posted this in the other thread, but thought I'd add the page number - on page 242 our man mentions the wire service that made hay out of the 'disaster gig' post here at SC.net. The book says the culprit was with the AP, but plenty of 'Nuts can tell you the perp was Dean Goodman of Reuters. I figure the guy's more or less permanently on our collective shit list.
