Question: Is anyone bringing a laptop?
Yes, I am, although I'm just planning on using the free wi-fi in the lobby area.
Awesome... I might need to hit you up for a few minutes a day. ;)

I'm bringing my laptop too, plus my iPhone will be available.

YAY!!!! Our work here is done, Nancy!!

HMMMM. If you all have GA tickets, I might have to get one too - would love to see the boys from down front. Only thing is, I'm flying in Thursday so likely won't get there early enough to queue up. Oh well, something tells me that even seeing them from the rafters would be A BLAST. Here's a review of the tour you might enjoy, this one from Denver:

http://denver.yourhub.com/Denver/Stories/Goings-on/Story~646991.aspx

This is a confession: I am not a Green Day fan. Now before you throw your shoe at me, I might become one after last night's amazing performance at the Denver Pepsi Center.

You might poo-poo what I have to say after my confession, but at least can I reveal that I have been going to concerts my entire life, starting with The Police's Synchronicity tour? I know the sweaty, thick mosh-pits. I hung with the bruised toes, shins and arms.

I'll have lappie, will share, also. Gotta bring my new 9" so I can show it to Conroy, although I'm tempted to bring Mr. Dive's 9" Hackint0sh.

I hope that I will get lots of updates from everyone. Since I will be following from home. Have a awesome time. Be safe in travels to and from. Make lots of noise and have "several" drinks for me too while you are at it. Love you all

Did Andy successfully install OSX on his Dell mini??!! Wooooooooooooo (sticking it to Bill Gates and Steve Jobs simultaneously. Nice!!!!). Can't wait to see it! I'm bringing my tiny Asus EEE 701sd that I bought refurbished last week for $120 shipped! I'm debating putting Eeebuntu on that and installing Cairo-Dock on it like I did with my EEE 901A to make it appear to be a hackint0sh.

He did indeed hack the hell out of it. You'll see it in London. Although...something tells me introducing you to Andy could be creating a monster.

;) ;)

Apparently it really wasn't that hard. He also bought a 64-gig solid state drive for it, not a bad investment considering the initial cost was so low.

No Green Day for moi. I can go either way for The Cult.
I'm for at least *showing up* for ES:TPIO and catching the Q&A.
Not sure what Laurie's feelings are yet. She's at Keith Urban tonight and then jetting out early in the AM.
You guys are gonna start arriving tomorrow!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

STEW JOLLA BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish everyone safe travels. Don't agree to transport packages from people you don't know (or take candy from strangers). Report any funny shit to the authorities, don't *even* think about bringing containers of liquids larger than 3 oz thru security and may the force be with you.

And, Lara, welcome to the US.

Perhaps our advance scout Amy has inside information that there will be a Q&A, but I believe it is just speculation (including from me) that Stewart will be there for it. I am plannign on going to find out.

Amy, we will need to figure a place/time to meet so those going to the movie whose concert tickets are in your possession can get them Thursday. Perhaps a meal location before hand?

Happy travels.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

Hmmm, yeah, I'd like to see you guys before we leave for GD and before those of you who are going to the movie head out. I hate to stick Nancy with this all again - perhaps we use the phone tree & call one another to spread the word once we've scoped the neighborhood and found somewhere convenient & un-ptomaine-looking?

Typed in a lovely reply to Nick's last post and thought I hit submit B4 dashing out for froyo. Anywho, Mr. Perry has a point. May I suggest a Mexican restaurant that's supposed to be good? It's on Prospect & has happy hour from 5-7.... Jose's Courtroom. We can meet and mingle for a bit B4 everyone heads to where they're going.
