Hey ceebab,

Well, that Sting concert was a while ago but the sound was stellar and they tend to time the shows so that the main act is playing while the sunset is happening.....and, well gorgeous probably IS the best word to describe it!!

I've heard that the camping has gone down hill quite a bit in recent years, but you can certainly find hotels in Moses Lake, Wenatchee, or Ellensburg which are all within about 45 minutes from George.

1) Hyde Park for free -Were I will flight inmediately!
2) Copacabana for free - I can go swimming!
3) Time Squares for free - I Don´t care the US Visit System!
4) Teatro de Verano in Montevideo, Uruguay (resembles a little coloseum, that´s my dream anyway, for the size of the venue, small and in front of the beach). I can go walking.
5) Everybody´s home (the dream of everybody, right?)I do not have to walk.

:D

Teatro de Verano de Montevideo??!!!
Are you crazy!!?... It would fall apart before you know it!
Not even the Centenario Stadium would do for an event of this magnitude!

ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! But is pretty cool the Teatro de Verano!!!
I loved it... I saw there many bands (good ones), including Lou Reed. Is spectacular in size and in sound. Resembles one gig they did in Greece -you can see it in The Police around the world.

We´ll, it´s a cool day to go to the beach, eat bananas, kill snakes, chop others heads and do what the south americans regularly do. :D

So long. Enjoy the 10 cool minutes of the Grammy´s tonight.

I think you didn´t miss that much... sound was flat and they played without taking risks, as if they were afraid of making a mistake. Was better the performance at Hall of Fame in 2003.

Not ten minutes, 4 at least.

1. Manchester University
2. Shepherds Bush Empire
3. Newcastle City Hall (for obvious reasons) holds about 1500...I saw Sting there in 1991 and managed to chat with Vinx at the back of the venue.
4. Hope & Anchor

I would like to go to the UK to see them at Wembley, but here locally (Detroit) I guess I would like to see them at The Palace or Ford Field.

Rumour has it they will come to Comerica Park where the Detroit Tiger play, and I'm not happy about that. Baseball stadiums are the worse place to see concerts.

First Avenue in Minneapolis. The club where Prince made his splash.

Unlike CBGB's, First Ave weathered the finance BS, and still remains the best smaller venue in Minneapolis.
The Police have a star on the outside of the building, although i'm not sure why, as they are not listed on the FA website as a band who played the venue.

anyway, check out the link below to see the venue:
