I've been really lucky selling my extras on ebay for face value, plus $10-$15 extra to cover PayPal and shipping charges. I'm sure that you'll dump that baby in no time. Good luck with that.

P.S. I've been a lurker for some time here and at TP.com and I LOVED the "school girl" outfit you wore on Halloween at MSG. WOW!

the tickets you've sold on ebay, have you sold singles? i've had my ticket on stubhub for a while now and no takers.

I wasn't at MSG in October, but I did get to live it vicariously thru the concert review thread at TP.com. Donna's pics were what I was referring to. It looks like you guys had alot of fun! I wish I could have been there... but I do have tickets for both JB shows, so you never know.

Like you, I have sold off some tickets to consolidate my expenses... I'm not even sure if I'll will be able to make JB work yet. Here's hoping...


Regarding my tickets: I was selling twosies, and it was on ebay not StubHub. I decided that too many buyers may be put off by StubHub's fee schedule, which I thought was pretty high, especially when you include the shipping. I mean, let's be serious, $15 to ship an envelope? WTF?

Maybe it is FedEx, but this far in advance you can ship tickets via certified mail thru the post office for $3-$4 and it's tracked. The buyer MUST sign for them, so I feel pretty comfortable with it. Insurance isn't necessary, because if the tickets get lost you still have plenty of time to get new ones from TicketBastard.

Give ebay a try. I've had 4 auctions close successfully on ebay using the "Buy It Now" feature. I started the auction at my cost from TM and had a "Buy It Now" price of $10-$15 higher (to cover the aforementioned PayPal and certified shipping fees). Every auction closed within days... Hollywood within 1/2 hour!
Try it... maybe your luck will change.

nope, nothing yet. I will put on ebay at the end of this week if i don't get any takers. i am tempted to go and just rack up more debt, but alas, the other side of my brain begins working and wrestles the "Vegas-Baby" side down. . i'm going to houston on 5/20 and then both of the JB shows. Although i technically have the time, my boss is having a fit with me taking off so many days. it doesn't help that i went skiing 2xs this year and took days off.. oh well, we will see. thanks for the pointers!
