OT: Ta-da! Policerule's "What Shoes Are you Wearing?'

Postby samburusunset on 10 Mar 2008 17:46
thanks for the info dive... SOMEONE outbid me and i missed that one pair in my size. NOT a happy camper 'bout that.

i might try to order another pair.
Yeah, I saw that you weren't the winner on that one  I dunno. If Bets and I get them are we going to look queer wearing the same shoes??

I missed out on a perfect blouse for the show yesterday . I was asleep at the switch and missed the end of the auction. D'oh!

Dive - what size woman's shoe do you wear? I'm a 9 and size 7 Chucks still seem a bit roomy.

I wear an 8.5/9 in normal shoes, depending on the brand, usually closer to the 8.5. You might want to try the 6.5 in Chucks, SS.

Definitely email the guy, y'all. For real. I wrote in a question on the auction about sizing and he apparently answered it wrong - then volunteered the information after I used the Buy it Now option, and sent me the correct size without my needing to make an issue out of it.

Seems like he definitely has a back-stock.

(I was probably not going to wear mine to Savannah, having already bought another pair I had planned on...but I can bring them along if you want to see how they look.)
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Somebody sniped your shoes, huh, PRule? That sucks. :x Dude, if you haven't already, you need to get hip to the eSnipe. If there's something I really want I almost always use it.

www.esnipe.com. I think it costs a little bit to use (hubby signed us up-- what do I know?) but not much. It'll bid for you, and you can set it up to bid within seconds of an auction's end. Pretty cool, 'cause you don't have to worry about being on the computer for the very end of an auction anymore.

i should have just used the buy it now, but i wanted to save 2 bucks! call me cheap... i'm poor.

i wouldn't care if we wore the same shoes to a stewart event, but i wouldn't do it any other time! i won't get them for savannah, so don't worry SS... if dive isn't wearing hers and i'm not either, you are in the clear!

i know MG... i've got to get on the snipe wagon. one of these days...<sigh>

Have we seen these?:

Hard to tell the exact shade of green, but they look kinda cool, and in one of the reviews they're described as "kelly"-- that's Kryptonish. 8)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=005

The lady got them from her friend and they didn't have laces :?: :!: Whatever. I'll pick some up at Tarjay.

If I get them by Monday, I may wear them to Savannah.
