I think I might have dated just 1 real tall guy in my life, a Geordie of all people. Not really a comfy feeling.

And Sting ain't that tall IMHO. He only looks tall because he's standing next to Andy!

Naw-- he's not that small. I'm guessing Stew is around 6'2" or 3" Sting is 6'ish, and Andy's probably somewhere between 5'4" and 5'8".

I have never been that close to Stewart, but I think you are correct in that respect. I was very close to Sting once in London, like brushing elbows, and he is 5'10" tops.
No way Andy is as tall as my husband! I think 5'1" is pretty accurate.

Other fave musicians I have seen up close and they were shorter than I thought: Bowie (he's NOT tall!!! must have been the platform boots at the time), Keef - really a little monkey like man, Prince (shorter than Andy IMHO), Winwood - about my size, and Alicia Keys.

Way taller than I imagined: Robert Plant, Kid Rock, Liam Gallagher (seriously, he's GIGANTIC!!!)

Sting=5ft 11.75in (maybe though only 5'8" because he wears boots/risers a lot)
Stewart=6ft 2in

Dunno about Andy except that I'm 5'7" and I distinctly remember looking *down* and being all "Oh hey there's an Andy standing next to me!" at the LA "Everyone Stares" premiere.

I'm looking at the pic on my desk of me, Andy and SC at the Santa Barbara film fest. SC towers over me, Andy is it least an inch or two shorter than me. I'm 5 ft 4 in, but I think I wore boots with heels that night. I'd peg Andy at about 5 ft 4.

Well, Bets he *was* sitting down!
I'm 5'7" and when he walked by to go into the book store I was a bit taller than him. So, maybe, 5'5-ish. He's our little Pocket Andy. He's not 5'1".
