Well, you know what? STEWART himself is hardheaded, mouthy
Why should he be surprised when his phalanx of fans turns out to be exactly the same?[/quote]

That is right, to each his own (wonder what this makes Gordo's fans, then OOPS! )

"and not prone to enjoy being pushed around"

Unless your name is Gordon Matthew Sumner...Double OOPS!!!  (joking, Maestro, we know that if ANYBODY pushed you around, his/her ribcage would suffer. We just perceive it this way because we are blinded with Love for Youse and Absolutely Not Objective).

I think Gina (or somebody else, I don't recall) was making an excellent point when she mentioned the Maestro's rant after the R'n'R of Fame Induction ceremony ($2500 per seat? FUCK YOU! etc etc). He will certainly empathize with his fan when He Himself has been taken advantage of by corporate greed (or the Waldorf Astoria administration, in this case).

DM>>>Thanks, Ucce. I said it in the other thread; I said it here. (Even at 4 am, it's important enough to remember.) Just because I personally don't agree with the submissions situation does not mean that anyone else can't. I can only speak for myself. I encourage others to make their own decisions.

Sorry I forgot that I DID read in the other thread, maybe the total mood of this matter has calmed down a little bit after Stewart's post, and then I myself felt relieved enough to appreciate your words. One of & the main reason I would restrain myself from sending photos (if I were the member) is that I don't want to make you feel sad. the mother of sweet Flaggy :)
I presume there are many who thinks the same.
I (we) love you DM ! Your little green child has grown this big !

Oh, Little Bird, you're breaking my heart.

I would be sad if the flag doesn't show up somewhere in the DVD -- that's why I came out here to embarrass myself in the hope that that doesn't happen.

But I wouldn't be sad if people submitted their photos. I personally disagree with the situation -- that's my choice -- but I don't want anyone to defer to me: they have to make their own choices.
By the way, if I forgot to mention elsewhere, thank you for the stickers and the placecard! xoxo

ETA: Mrs. G, boogaloo is a kind of dance: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_boogaloo

and a really, really, really, really bad '80s movie that policerule is in love with: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breakin%27 ... c_Boogaloo
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Wow am I too late? I'm still reading flag thread #1.

I got my own Legacy membership (public-enemy-No.1-word here) the other day with my money, with my decision.
I'd abusolutely like to have that official DVD (public-enemy-No.1-word here again), because that would be my everlasting memory.
If Stewart had bombed away some part of (All of? I could not understand
his latest post well.) flag project on the dvd, still love to get it.
(That should be a shame if no interviews or no comment for the flag there.)

Flaggy thing....I'm so sorry nobody of SC.net (especially Gio and DM)received any comment from TP.com
beforehand. I think TP.com did their work in a wrong way. If long-live Police fans run such a big fan-club like this, they need to take other
fan's feelings into consideration.

Sorry for OT but I'd like to thank Stewart here;

Dear STEWART (I know you have no time now...)

I saw 13th Feb Tokyo dome live on Japanese TV the other day.
As Sting described us as 'another planet' people etc, many Japanese
fans were just standing there, staring at you, Andy , and Sting without
shout.
You might think it's curious, but this is our style, our way of showing
love to the band. We were not sleeping. We were just too touched to
sing along.

Some of us are afraid that you had to compromise a lot to get this reunion
tour go well (for example changing of setlist). Please don't forget it that
we understand well that you are so sincere to fans.

Last night I pulled out "Synchronicity live 1984" dvd from the shelf.
The gig on 2008 was much better, because I was there.
Thank you so much for coming back to Japan.
7 /8/08 NYC-The Flag is forever!
Thank you, Stewart.

You guess?? Do you really think Stewart is shallow, then? (No question about Loud)...
Therefore, The Bard, from the Depth of His Immense Ennui and Ivory Tower, must have produced Deep, Bored, Fickle, Brothel-loving, Yoga Scrotum Showing fans... :P
