Hmmm. I thought that vid looked pretty good. What'd I miss? Eddie's solo seemed to go off OK...?

Glad to hear the Bon Jovi show was good! I wouldn't expect otherwise, but still good to know. The screens sound cool! Going to see them in Greensboro on the 16th. Did Daughtry open for them when you saw 'em, Sockii?

sorry that you missed out conroy... maybe they will be around for a bit and you can hit a different show. i might go again if they hit philly.

well sock... at least vespa saw them twice right? too bad about eddie.[/quote]

Well, I did see an excellent production of Macbeth at the Folger's Shakespeare Theater in DC yesterday with lots of gore and blood. The magic tricks and illusions were designed by Teller of Penn and Teller, so I did have a great weekend despite missing The English Beat. I would defintely make the trip up to Philly to see them if they happen to stop there.

I just got Foo Fighter tickets this morning for the Indy show on July 23rd. A friend & I will be sitting on the side fairly close to the stage. It should be a good concert.

I've just found this topic and ......
very excited to go to Cheap Trick concert on 24 April (yes, this month) at BUDOKAN.
They will play the same set list as they did 30 years ago, that Legendary Live at Budokan.

There will be a fun-meeting the night before, inviting 100(chosen) fans who have the 30-years-ago tickets, (or, the ticket for this year also). it's the idea of Rick Nielsen, who always show some special affection to Japanese fans.
:D it's like an alumuni meeting ha ha !

Just saw a listing for a three-headed act, Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick for US dates...

Not a massive Journey fan (although I'll embarass everyone with how many songs I know, word for word) but to see Heart and Cheap Trick in the same night...umm, ya, actually I mean F-YEAH!!! <grin>

Okay, here is my concerts for this year. I think that to you it will sound boring, but here you go:

Billy Ray Cyrus - May 3 - West Wendover, NV USA
The Police - July 16 - Concord, CA USA (Very first Police concert.)
Billy Ray Cyrus - July 27 - Turlock, CA USA
Billy Ray Cyrus - September 20 - Las Vegas, NV USA

Okay, I think there is a pattern here. All of these are going to be awesome.

Cheap Trick is awesome. That is all...Saw 'em about a year ago and they were every bit as good as any other act you could name. Dunno what it is about that band that drives me wild...

Tix in hand right now:

Nick Lowe & Robyn Hitchcock, April 11, L.A.
New Pornographers, April 18, Nashville
Nick Lowe, April 21, Nashvegas (with Elvis Costello?! All digits crossed)
Elvis Costello, April 23, Nashville
Lou Reed, May 2, Nashville
George Clinton & Parliament, May 3, Nashville
King Crimson, August 2, Nashville
The Police, Elvis Costello, August 4, Jones Beach

More Police & various other shows TBD...(Philly and Red Rocks most likely)
