Stewart Interview on Police Every Breath Dvd

I assume you have, but if you haven't, you need to catch the funny documentary of Jools Holland going to Monserrat to interview The Police in action recording Ghost. It's the bonus material on The Police Greatest Hits dvd "Every Breath You Take." BUY IT NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T.

The interviews were unreleased before and are very candid and funny. Especially Stewart's segment behind the drums where he explains.."Drums are easy..anyone can do this!" Sting and Andy also have their own segments and there is a great rare ad lib session where Sting, Andy, and Jools jam out the 12 bar blues. Stewart was no where to be found for that unfortunately.

The dvd really takes you right into the The Police at that time.

those are great segments all, but especially the stew stuff. i still don't own that dvd, but i watch my buddy's copy all the time. i love his description of "reggae riddims", very entertaining! his enthusiasm for rhythm is downright infectious...

i just watched the interviews on the synchronicity dvd for the first time recently. while there is virtually no real information contained in them, all the band are in very good spirits and seem very at ease with their planned sabbatical. stewart as usual is especially funny and exuberant as he goes off on his referential diatribe!

Aw geez. I almost can't watch that interview...it's back before Sting went ego tripping, and back before the broadcast airwaves were full of Jessica Simpson...I tend toward nostalgia sometimes, almost too much.

I was going to run out and get the new Synchronicity dvd until I read a review that said it was not worth rebuying it of you already have the old version. Is it? If it has enough interview stuff and bonus, I guess I'll splurge! Anyone?
