Let's hope to hell so. Seriously. In interviews, Stewart has to answer questions - and they're usually the same ones over and over, about Sting's personality, Police reunions, blah blah blah. But, in his blog entries, we get to hear about whatever he wants to say - and since he's a smarter-than-the-average-bear kind of guy with a unique perspective, it usually adds up to some interesting writing.
Which isn't to say I don't like his interviews - I keep talking here about the one where he's referring to the Sundance review panel as an "august body" of folks, and the one where says Oysterhead "comes down from the mountain" to record...it just cracks me right up. It's like he's answering the questions but poking subtle fun at the sameness of the interviews at the same time. I can't get enough of it, honestly...
