Aloud me to disagree, TOWOS. The best ass in history of cinema was Brad Pitt's one in "Thelma & Louise". The moment when the guy walks away after the ride the girls had given to him... GRRRR!. :twisted:

you gotta love Brimstone and Treacle for lots of reasons (yeah, yeah, the ass shots not withstanding), Dennis Potter was a genius with the written word and its transition to TV or film, and his ability to shock the shockable audience much to the delight of the tabloids in the UK who called him the 'master of sleaze' etc etc missing the fact that they exploit and objectify women without making a worthwhile point or causing reflection... and, denhollm elliot and joan plowright are ace in the film.......

and when dennis potter knew he was dying he did an interview on the south bank show during which he was swigging his liquid morphine to alleviate the pain, the interviewer (melvyn bragg) had obviously been touched by potter's work and the interview was one of the most moving things i think i've ever seen on the box.............
