Charlotte Gainsbourg, the actress and singer who is daughter of Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin (do you remember? The hot couple who used to sing that horny ballad, "Je t'aime")...
Yeah, I remember Charlotte.
I have the “Charlotte Forever” CD where
she also sings a couple songs with her father.
She must have been only 15 at the time.

Yes, haha... She was a teenager then and that album was like the one Alanis Morrissette did when she was very young too. Charlotte is 36 years old now and she is a cool actress and singer. Her album is good, indeed.

Here there is a cool link. IMHO. 8)

Manu Chao rocks... My favorite album is "Clandestino". My favorites songs, "Día Luna... Día Pena" y "Minha Galera". Beautiful.

BTW Smax... Did you get "The Police at Rio" I sent to you? It's been two weeks now since I sent it. I hope you did.

not yet, sophie, not yet.. i'm waiting with baited breath and will let you know as soon as i get it........

(PS; you rool) 8)

i love manu; clandestino, but also "proxima estacion eperanza" which which is like listening to 'clandestino' on heavy medication, kind of like dreaming 'clandestino' or something......
i was going to see him last year when a friend said they were going to buy tickets as a wedding present for me, but the gig was when we were away on honeymoon and so couldn't go, i'd love to see him live; there's some great footage of him and band in france; the crowd are SO loud and reverantial, sounds like a religious experience.
