Stewart in Europe

Postby giovanni on 13 Sep 2006 21:18

Stewart will soon tour Europe to promote the DVD; I don't exactly remember which cities but he will be in Paris, Amsterdam...Spain.....a lot of cities around Europe; I will try to get the complete list very soon!

That will be your chance to meet the MAN himself!

That's cool news for the European fans...hopefully info will be more forthcoming than for a lot of the US events that have happened in recent months.

For instance, I just found out -- tonight -- about Stewart having been in NYC today for a signing. :( And I was actually *in* the city at the time, but that makes 2 NYC events recently that were not widely announced until after the fact, alas.

...well, at least we have the festival this weekend, right?

i'm surprised it's still screening in festivals at all after it's official dvd release. but, i guess the extra exposure can't be a bad thing!

I get a new info by Gert Bruch who told me that Stewart will only do press conferences for journalists, without public Q&A and meetings.
Let's wait for further details....

Hey folks!!

VERY good news, Gio!!.

I think he will visit Madrid or (and) Barcelona in Spain...

I´ll be in Barcelona next late october; I´m going to enjoy all Antoni Gaudi´s marvelous buildings (do you know them?; if you have the chance, COME and enjoy visiting them!!). It would be AMAZING I could meet Stewart in Barcelona in that time: one great city, too great artist to meet!!

Enjoy!

Does Stew actually have a publicist, or some kind of handler who could let us know about stuff like this? I think our guys here do a great job, but given that SC is in the U.S. half the time, they can't really be expected to know all the details.

It just seems like a missed opportunity, not to let rabid fans like us know ahead of time when something comes up. I'd just die if I missed a Q&A AGAIN (tho I do think the Bonnaroo thing was probably my own fault)...

Thanks Al for your optimistic feelings and your support about my sadness.

My daughter is now in high school at Turin.
She told me, is an amazing experience and altough she is home sick, feels very happy in Italy.

I talked with her yesterday and today, and asked if she heared something about Copeland's events on TV and concerts, but she said no news until today.

Maybe later if she has the chance, but the bad thing is that she is not Copeland's fan as I do...
