Oh Dietmar I don't have any knitting abilities, but maybe another Stewart's fan could help you.

Good luck :!:

Anyway, thanks for the covers...

And I thought Sting had horrible taste in sweaters.

Ahh and the spotted collar!

My grand'ma used to have knitting habilities !
I remember wearing a sweater like that back in the 70's !!

Hey Dietmar, more infos about this pic ? I guess it was taken in Stew's or Andy's or Sting's flat in 1980, am I right ?

D'you think Stewart's sweater is better, really ?
It was almost 30 years ago !!!
I wonder how our children will react when they'll see how we dressed up just like 10 or 15 years ago !

Strange things happen.

I remember when I was teenager, my parents told me evertime that I have to dress better, and now I am telling my teens kids to dress better.

Actually I think it's worse, especially with the spotted collar. Everytime I see Sting wear a sweater I think, "Damn they let him dress himself again!"

15 years ago, humm what did people wear in '91? The only thing I remember about that year (knowing it was that year) was going to buy a shower curtain, for the new house. My Dad let me pick it out, it had big cartoon cats on it. And what was I wearing at the time? I'm pretty sure it was the one hundred and one dalmations outfit I had, it was my favorite.

But come on, no ones going to laugh about how my generation dresses...ok the baggy pants, but it's better then shorty shorts! And white shorts at that, someone could have thrown water at him, and.... lol

Lol I didn't say I wear baggy pants. Guys do.

Come on we're the first generation in a while to a actually have style (scratch the baggy pants), that's not....laughable.

HAW!!

Maybe the next time Stewart is through he can tell us about the sweater. I have to agree, it's, erm, pretty bad. Although you should see my high school senior photograph: I have the worst 80s perm in the world and I'm wearing an Esprit checkered shirt with two different color cuffs, pretty much the worst example of 1980s excesses. Although I bet Dietmar knows of a few, also!! (I guess I'm thinking of people dressed up like the guys in Kraftwerk...)
