I don't know where the hell to put this, but DM, your avatar is freaking hilarious. Especially Andy. It's just shear perfection.

Thanks!!!

Um......

The big man talked about a trip on the plane........

LET HIM PUT HIS MONEY WHERE HIS MOUTH IS!!!

(Or do we think if Stewart gets the flag we'll never see it again?)

D-A-O was talking about stalking, I mean going to the group hotel, this could be a real reason......

.............. I know DM I'll just shut up!
Thanks for the offer, D-A-O, but unless Tokyo moves to Canada, it's still a non-starter. Too few resources available and too little time. Despite the extreme efforts made in multiple languages, it just can't happen without a mule traveling from Japan to Hawaii.

My thanks again to Team Tokyo and the theoretical Team Honolulu for all the efforts these past few weeks. You guys have worked really hard, and I am grateful. I only wish the timing and circumstances had worked out.
Errrrrrr...

Far be it for me and Kimmy to be stating the bleedin' obvious, but isn't a certain Mr Copeland going to be travelling from Japan to Hawaii????? He DID offer the green menace the trip of a lifetime on the tour plane. Methinks the problem is solved!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Oy. And Bongo's flag song is part of the setlist. Haven't you kids learned by now? Stewart lies. <*ducks*>

But here -- just for you guys:

Stewart, call me.
If any thing happens to me (which it wont) i would you to be the stand in flag bearer if that is alright with the boss (dm) (flag boss) :D
I dunno, Jan. I think whoever kills you for your tickets has probably earned the right to the flag that night. But of course, that may be Larissa . . .

And thanks, bella.

If the flag really gets a ride on the band jet I will absolutely scream! My .02 worth is that Stewart would then need to assign a minion to ensure safe transfer of the flag once the plane lands.

I want a picture of Sting holding the flag and smiling, but then take it away quickly before he eats it. :D

Yes, I'm bummed about Flag not making it to Hawaii, but there's just not enough time to make the hand off and guarantee arrival. Flag safety is #1 at all times. Though I'm sure that Flag would love an extended vacation on the beach, we just can't allow Flag to be unsupervised for that long!

Huge thanks to DM for doing her best to make it happen. She put a lot of work into the logistics, but it's just too risky, especially with the shows being on a weekend. Unless one of us knows a UPS or FedEx pilot who flies from Japan to Hawaii, it ain't gonna work.

I'd explained the flag phenomenon to my hubby and a couple of friends and they were stoked for me. Hubby was bummed when he heard Flag won't make it, and I'm sure my friends will be too.

But, the bright side is that I still get to see TWO Police shows from great seats. There is NO WAY I can be bummed about that!

I'm with the Brits on this one.

C'mon Stewart. Don't you want to add flag mule to your long list of accomplishments?

Thanks for trying DM.
Like OutlandoGirl said, NO WAY can we be bummed out about that!
We've got great seats for both shows and that is more than I could ever ask for :D

Man, I've been so busy these past few months.

Jumping on a plane today to fly to Wellington. I can't remember if I gave my contact details to the woman who will have the flag. I can't remember who the woman is (I said I've been busy, right), and I do so want to make sure I thank Stewart on it, just in case I never meet him personally.

If the woman with the flag duties in Wellington, or the flag commander could please PM or email me, that'd be fantastic.

Cheers.

On a plane in about 2 hours. Woo-hoo!
