Searching Andy's "Dantalion's Chariot" 60's phsycodelic former band... I discovered this amazing video of "Animal Logic" - ROSE COLORED GLASSES with Stewart Copeland playing his drum and dancing with a platinium smoking trough this cool video:

Fantastic!

Is my first time I watched an Animal Logic video... It sounds better and quality video superb!

Regards from PERU,

Jose ;)

live experince

I would rather prefer all the live performances the band did on tv (mainly US tv), as both Stewart and Stanley gave their best....

I had the chance to see them in Paris, Elysées Montmartre in June, 3rd 1989.
That was a GRREAAT concert and most of the audience were there to see Stewart !
I have the tape of this show !

Great show!

I saw them here in Toronto Canada at the El Mocombo (Rolling Stones used to play there) it's just a little bar.

It was the one time I got to say "Hello" to Stewart as he hustled by us in his "whites" to go on stage. He was about 30 feet from my table...they didn't even need to mic his drum kit....un-freakin-believable!

I still remember how stunned I was when I left, I was kinda shell-shocked.

Pure power.

(To be perfectly honest, I was there to see the bass n drums only, the songs and vocals just don't get to me. I am not at all saying it's no good. Just not my musical taste.)

Wicked Bass n Drums!!!

Thanks Stew. :D

Did Animal Logic ever put out videos for "There's a Spy" or "Love In the Ruins"?

I'm not sure about Love in ruins, but there was one for There's a Spy.

Saw them at the Park West in Chicago in winter of 1990. They began with "Spy" and I'll never forget those first 3 snare hits - BA-BA-BOP! I felt like I'd been shot in the chest (but what a way to go!)

i tried hard to like animal logic, but mostly it was not to my taste either. but i supported them faithfully anyway, appreciating what i could of the music. my fav AL cd was a four track live ep they issued. also saw them on the tonight show in support of their second album, the band had been expanded to a sizeable roster (eight or so). yeah, the live stuff worked best for me...

the only video i remember seeing was for spy, so hopefully tomorrow i can get on a fast connection and check out this clip!

stewart also made an appearance on bob costas' later to promote the band, which i recorded and watched several times. i wonder if anyone else remembers it? there was a moment when he commented on how each member of the police had grown quite accustomed to their wealth, followed by dead air from bob. stew picked up the beat quickly with a subdued "only joking." hilarious!
