A cover band from Spain - La Pasma

Postby giovanni on 16 Aug 2006 11:26

Hello again....(it's easy to see I'm not working...I'm always on this forum...ehehe).

I just got an we-mail from the drummer of a Spanish Police cover band called www.lapasma.com
Check it out...there is a video of a live performance of 'Message In A Bottle' from them as you opend the main page...and if you are into cover bands, there are some more videos to watch and listen to.

Thanks Maximilian for letting us know about your band...and join us if you like...we're a bunch of crazy people ... but we are nice!

it's strange that most words seem to begin with "h"...
there's only ONE cover band good enough to be mentioned at all and that's REGGATTA DE BLANC from Germany.

They care to sound real!

"nice but crazy." I like that. Maybe we should put it on the website somewhere as a kind of official motto...;)

Dietmar you said so, but I am not pretty sure. I heared last year 'Fall Out Police Experience, and they sound quite good. And also this Spanish band, Gio said sounds very well...

I'm not into cover bands

Postby giovanni on 21 Aug 2006 11:23

Hi people; I just want to say that I'm not into cover bands that much...I nver 'liked' cover bands projects...too many people asked me also to join a Police cover band, or to form one, but I never did that....

For me they are all good in the sense that it's good to pay tribute to a band you love...in this band from Spain I can listen to a certain spirit I don't usually listen to in many cover bands...
