Seriously! I SOOO wanted them for Charlotte, but hubby dear was already a little bent about the $$$$$$ tickets! I'm already trying to weasel my way to the Philly show WHEN it is rescheduled. Am DYING to go to Savannah, but the 26th is Hubby's birthday, and he overruled. May just have to drown my sorrows in a pair of krypton green Adidas.

Thank you, oh wonderful enablers, for helping me to see the light! :D

where to begin....

it's my wedding anniversary and my hubby said that we could go to GA. he gets bonus points for that! guess a birthday is different though. :(

there is no way that you are not going to the philly reschedule. it will happen. that's all there is to it.

if you buy the shoes, the tickets will come....
Question for all you Zappos gals-- How often do you end up returning shoes because they don't fit? I would love love love to order shoes on line, but am afraid to because of the whole "can't try them on" thing. Isn't it a big pain in the ass to send them back when they don't fit?

I almost don't want the answer, because I know you're all going to say it's a piece of cake and I'm going to have to order these:

Damn. . . . Why did I ever read this thread?
Just do it ... you know you want to ...

Now I'm tempted, and I need another pair of green kicks like I need a hole in the head!

Zappos returns and exchanges are dead simple, and really fast. They send them to you with a return label, and you just have to go online to activate it. Easy breezy.

Where the fuck is that credit card?

Seriously, when I'm living in a van down by the river with nothing but my foxy green Adidas, my watermelon shirt, and my Stewart/Police CDs, I hope some of you will remember this and bring me some lunch!
3. While moving, I discovered I HATE all my shoes. They are either comfortable or "screw me silly sexy" but none are both. That's an issue for me. I need new shoes. (oh, and in reverse freudian slips, I just typed 'I need new shows.")

Any suggestions ladies?????
Come to Chicago and we can go for a shoe crawl. There's a great little bar and restaurant around the corner from my favorite shoe store, where we can get a quiet tequila after shopping 8) .

Failing that ... Donald J. Pliner, as Nancy mentioned, and Stuart Weitzman. I also do well with AK Anne Klein, particularly a pair of lovely wedge sandals that are very comfortable. Some Franco Sartos are pretty comfy and not too office-y. When I've splurged on Prada they've always been comfy and sexy.

I'm hit or miss with Aerosoles, and with Naturalizer (although I have a great pair of Naturalizer heels that make my legs look a mile long, and I can walk all day in them).

Every pair of Kate Spade shoes I've ever owned has made me want to cut my feet off. Obnoxiously uncomfortable after the deceptive new-shoe foreplay period.

i have a p.o. box for just that purpose. undetected purchases. Wink i NEVER have anything delivered to my house. the hubs gets home before me every day, so there is no chance of packages going unseen. then, i throw the new boxes out and put them in old ones and label them. i'm a pretty sneaky chick that way... they just don't understand. i don't even have stuff delivered to work anymore for fear that my boss will think he's paying me too much! ah, the life of a shoe whore!
Jesus, Mary and Joseph!! and *I'm* a crazy woman! ;)

I'm just depressed as hell I don't wear PR's size, so I can't inherit her leftovers...:(

Shoes: I'm a fool for Keen sneakers...I probably have seven or eight pairs. Seriously. They're the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear, they last forever, and some of them are really fun-looking.

I've also got a slew of shell-toe Adidas, cause they're also supercomfy...specifically the Superstar 2...

Two or three pairs of Frye boots (two engineer, one cowboy) - also comfy and stylish...

And probably the most audacious pair I have is a pair of Dolce & Gabbana knee high boots in leopard print ponyskin. I'll try to find a photo, but I bought them off Ebay three or so years ago, so I may be out of luck.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Thanks Ladies! Great suggestions.

I definitely like the cool but cas mom look for weekends, and the professional but dead sexy (and comfy) look for work.

There are 20 year olds who wear "fuck me on the desk" pumps. Love em. We'll give 'em vespapod's card, shall we?

Me, I need the sexy orthopaedic line!!!!

OK, now I am off to shop for MY Xmas pressies! :D
