OT: Ta-da! Policerule's "What Shoes Are you Wearing?'

Postby Lynne on 26 Nov 2007 19:14
Jesus, you people are lethal!!
No joke! I went to STP and bought the Keen Tuscany boots (replacing my old Keen hikers) and the Keen Newport sandals (to replace my old Keen Boulders) ... in BRIGHT GREEN! Of course ...

And *this* on top of my following Dive's pusher tendencies to get the white and green Adidas Stan Smith's last month.

Dive, I'm just gonna forward my AmEx bill to you  .

careful with those born boots dive... i had a pair of shearling lace up's from last season and had to sell them because they sat in my closet too long (doh!) and i never wore them.... too tight across the top of my foot.

but, holy shit... i've just come across these!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of your kicks, Bets

JESUS X CHRIST! Come to Mama!! Those boots are the ultimate!!! (::slobber::drool::...)

OK, it's gonna take me a minute to come to my senses, here...
Dive, I'm just gonna forward my AmEx bill to you
Cool! More bonus Membership Rewards points I can cash in on plane tickets!! ;)

(I'm not *that* bad yet, but I admit there may have been one or two impulse purchases to which I may have succumbed, due partially to the big fat pile of MR points sitting at the end of the rainbow...)

Check out these awesome Born boots from STP:

http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,18672_.html

I have to say I'm sort of considering, even though I'm not wild about that stitching across the toe.

(I have a couple pairs of Borns which actually fit me pretty well, except for one clog that also was too tight across the top. So maybe paying less than full retail for them ain't a bad plan.)

And oh hey, Lynne: SPG points are usually A LOT better than Amex points, since they transfer 1:1 into most airline FF programs, unlike the 3:1 it takes for the same total using MR. So you're all good. You can also launder those using the Amtrak<Choice<SWA or AA conversion, tho, so let me know if you have enough (25,000) to want in.

i am looking for more reasons to be positive about the date being rescheduled, and i believe i have found another.... more time to pick out appropriate footwear! i was very conflicted right before the show, so now i have more time. :D

when the fuck are they going to announce the new date?!?!?!?! i need information! STEEEWWWWWWARRRRT!

i'm yelling... sorry. i get carried away easily.... even without alcohol. tssst.
