Hello gang, Giovanni here.
Now, I just came back from the hotel where Stewart is staying for this week-end here in Milano.
He's ok, a little tired but very happy for yesterday show in Germany.

That's what he said about yesterday:

"Even the Germans couldn't stay seated for LA TARANTA; that music can let everybody jump up and dance, it's impossible to stay seated! We enjoyed a lot, we played for about 90 minutes. A good show, the only one as LA NOTTE DELLA TARANTA ENSEMBLE this year."

As to Gizmo he said:

"We got this new brilliant guitar player called PHIL X (you can check http:www.powdermusic.com) and a new singer, Dodo who is African; they both can sing very well, let's see if Phil can sing some of the songs while Dodo might do the songs where we need some sort of rap vibe.
The setlist might be similar to last year but we got some new stuff we're working at..."

As to the Police dvd coming out:

"I thought it would be released in August, while I just discovered the release date should be mid-September; I'm very happy for that and in a way it will be the very final chapter in the Police history.
It's like THE BLAIRWITCH PROJECT and THE SPINAL TAP, sort of in the middle of it; to finalise the project I crossed so many different obstacles like asking permissions of everything, from the hotel chains to the drawings in the t-shirts of people appearing in the movie, maybe collaborators we had in the studio or people in the backstage...it was fun working on it but it was even hard to turn it from a home movie to a professional product...the world changed since it was premiered at Sundance".

I did the interview for a magazine called JAM while another journalist did it for ROCKSTAR, one of the main music magazine around here.
I then spent some time with Stewart after everybody was gone. I will see him again in the coming days and weeks, and I will report everything, including new pics.

I told Stewart about all the private messages I got from many of you concerning Ian, he's very happy to see how we all got close to him.

Sorry about the troubles we're having due to the hackers attack; I guess that by Monday or Tuesday you will see something re-established again, including the news section; the main trouble will remain the forum as most of the messages that were on the other room of this forum...have all gone....I'm sure we'll be soon back to normality!

I took a pic of me and him, but I have no chance to upload it now, then if you wanna see it, just e-mail me and I will send it over.

Brothers and Sisters.....More news to come in the coming days!
Ciao ciao

Well, thank you so much for the update, Gio! Yes, pictures are important. I was waiting for that, too! I hope everyone is enjoying themselves and having a good time. Can't wait to see.

What are Germans usually to lazy to stand up?

Fuck!

That's just a nicer way of saying "Well some of you thought this might lead to a reunion...well nope, not going to happen, never."

Eww how can he compare his work to The Blairwich Project, that movie was crap.

Gio, can we have PM's when everything's fixed?

Thank you very much for the information.

So sad because the lost messages :ó(

About the DVD is the last chapter of The Police; will be? Let me ask Tao.

Anyway I can not think better now on The Police, because my mind is deeply involved with calcio-calcio-calcio.

I think that maybe Italy will win its 4th world cup, because La Squadra Azzurra, has an invencible man in Gian Luigi Buffon.

Eyyyyyyy Gio you are lucky, Buffon has the same first name as you:

Well, I guess Stewart said that because Germans might be seen as colder than people from south Europe like Italians, Greeks or Spanish...and also because nobody knows whether Taranta music can be well accepted outside Italy.

To Georgie girl:

Buffon is a good keeper....BUT he plays for JUVENTUS and I DO SUPPORT AC MILAN....eheheh

Colder

Postby giovanni on 09 Jul 2006 16:51

No, it's not about Nazis or Holocaust...

In general people from south Europe like Italians or Spanish got a collective image of people with fire inside...with more vibe if you know what I mean....even for sex the 'latins' got this kind of image....
...while people from 'the North of Europe' seems to be colder than us...as simple as that....

Personally I can be considered a cold guy...and I'm Italian...

Back to the game Italy-France, I'm a supporter of HOLLAND since I was 10 years old (don't ask me why), and I'm 39 now....still a proud Dutch Team supporter...but tonight of course I will be happy if Italy wins.

Giovanni you're so lucky! :D You get to talk with Stewart in person and everything! When and how did you FIRST meet Stewart? And how did you get him to have this be his official website?
