Where would I buy it? Do you have to order them, or could I just pick it up at Barns and Noble or something?

I noticed big inconsistancies in what magazines the chain stores carry lately. You should be able to find it in places like Borders and B&N, but I just checked the Borders near the office where I work, and they had a pretty lean selection on music magazines in general. They didn't have any Modern Drummer issues at all, but had DRUM magazine. It just could be they are sold out since the new issue should hit any time now. I'm going to check a few more places either today or this weekend. Or, one might have better luck going to a music store that sells drums.

Well we could always buy it from that link, but I know they'll just end up cheating us in shipping.

Look in your local drum/music shop. There's one in the next town over from me that carry this magazine regularly.

My local Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Tower all carry Modern Drummer, but it doesn't look as though the August issue with Stewart is on the stands yet. So I wouldn't rush to order it online from somewhere for another week or two...it should show up soon.

Anyone seen it at Barnes and Noble? Maybe I should call first, I wonder if someoene there would check, or just say no so they wouldn't have to look.
