It's from Beneath Medicine Tree, by Copeland (a band) not Stewart Copeland.

They were really popular last year, but no one (around here) really listens to them any more (they can't seem to stick with anything longer then 6 months).

Actually I'm not sure, but I came across some sites about Courtney Cox Arquette and they all say it's true. Maybe that's why she went to his AFI screening.

Stewart's uncle Hunter was Courtney's step-father. She dated Ian for a while, and he was her agent. If you haven't, you MUST read Ian's book Wild Thing. He's a great writer, and of course talks about the Police, among other things. Check out "Ask Uncle Ian" at backstagecafe.com. He's a great guy.

I read about Courteney Cox Arquette on that MyHeritage.com website that someone wrote about on another thread here, and it does say that she is the step-daughter of Hunter Copeland, a New York businessman, and that she has lots of step-siblings. So, assuming he's Stewart's uncle, you're right - she is Stewart's step-cousin. But, where did you hear/read that she dated Ian? I mean even though they're not blood-related it would still seem kind of icky for them to be dating each other since they still are related. Plus, wouldn't he have been a good 20 years older than her? On MyHeritage.com, it didn't give her age, but if she's around the same age as Jennifer Anniston, who's 37, she wouldn't have been 18 until like 1987 and since Ian is older than Stewart, he would have been more than 35 years old by that time! What a huge age difference!

Ian talks about it in his book, Wild Thing. He was her agent and dated her just before she landed the gig on Friends. He got her the gig in that Springsteen video. He is 15 years older than her - she's turning 42 in June. Ian's Birthday is next Tuesday - check out backstagecafe.com.

They dated? When I first read that I thought "Eww pervy! He was like...in his 30's!" But she was like 20, so ok Ian's not a perv...maybe.
