Other Concerts
I love it: SC.net shirts at the *Genesis* show!! Truly we have taken over!!
Ha ha, well, I was hoping we might be able to get the logo up on the big screen at some point--they were doing audience pan shots at times but sadly we were too high up to get spotted. But that would have pwned the show so well...

Whatever you think about Genesis, you gotta appreciate that they play for 2 hrs and 40 mins.

I strongly feel that with Genesis, less is more....

I certainly could not bear a 2 hr 40 min Genesis concert (not by a long shot), but I'm just saying, they are giving their fans a full night of "entertainment." If you are a big fan of a band, have you ever really complained that the concert was too long? I only say that for bands that are "meh" or lower.

Sockii, I checked $30 to get the 2 cd official Genesis soundboard boot from Thursday night.

Available @ www.themusic.com

Peter Gabriel & The Who shows are also available.

Thanks for the link, Animal! I'm thinking about it, though vespapod said he had a patient yesterday who went to both the Tuesday and Thusday night shows and said the Tuesday night show was better overall (especially the Drum Duet).

I still need to get through my photos. At some point! I ended up taking like 300 though so far I haven't gotten past Big-Giant-Head-Phil from "Domino":

That's still giving me nightmares!

Thanks Sockii. I didn't need to sleep any time in the next month or so. (WHY did I open that pic?!?)

LOL. I actually DID have nightmares the night after the show. I blame that image for them all.

It was pretty neat, though I wish they'd used it more for showing the actual guys playing (a la the Police video screens) instead of their animated video stuff. For the most part they only use two oval-shaped, smaller screens on the side of the stage for close ups on the band.

But then, how much of Evil Big Head Phil does one need to see? (And I say this as a fan, too...)

Thanks for the pic. Yeah that was very freaky looking, more so than the yellow lit Phil going HaHa Ha during Mama.

It reminds me of Red Dwarf's Holly.
