STEWART

Postby Samburu on 29 Mar 2006 16:40

I'm sure many who read my last post will think the same, Georgy.

Wouldn't that be cool ... taking off at the height of your fame to go to a place where nobody knows you in order to learn about different cultures.

I like the drumming, but the guy behind the rhythm deserves even more respect.

Thanks for the birthday wishes Al and Georgygirl. It's not until Saturday, though. I'll stay 31 for as long as I can!

Samburu about this:

the guy behind the rhythm deserves even more respect.

I didn't understand you.

Could you explain it for me :?:

Stewart's the one that gives the music rhythm (drums), and she's saying he needs more respect for it.

Actually, I'm a he and I mean Stewart deserves more respect for the person he is than the music he produces.

Okay...

Postby georgygirl on 30 Mar 2006 06:22

Samburu, how do you know that :?:

Seems to me like you know Stewart person.

I said person, that not implies in person.

Am I right?

Al least I respect Stewart music, but I don't know his person, just the personality he shows through his art.

Anyway, for me, he seems like a good person that deserves respect.

Isn't it obvious? Look at what he has done throughout his career. You don't need to analyze deep into someone's psyche in order to see they're a good person.

Okay

Postby georgygirl on 30 Mar 2006 13:47

but you said that he deserves more respect for the man he is than for the man who is making music.

Why you think so :?:

Don´t you think that his music is a very important part of his person, because is the way he is in touch with many people in our world :?:

About the respect as a man, is with the people with he is in contact in his everyday life, but for his fans like you and me, he has our respect thorugh his music...

Well, is my point of view, take it or leave it

Okay Samburu, you already made your choice. :!:

Maybe you know Stewart's person better than I.

For me, Stewart remains my respect as a musician. :P

PS. Is fun to argue with you Samburu

Samburu,
Where can we read about all the good things Stewart has done throughout his career besides his music? I would like to read about them.

I wish Stewart would write an autobiography or that someone would write his biography. Someone, someone...Samburu? Giovanni?

Stewart posts here, that's a good thing. Stewart led a campaign to fight cancer, that's a good thing. Stewart is married family man, that's a good thing. Stewart doesn't sell out because of his fame, that's a good thing. Stewart sought out fans' help naming his Police movie, that's a good thing etc. etc. etc.

If he was a jerk, would so many of us come back to this site again and again?

To me, it's self evident. That's really all the input I have on this. Sorry to create such an uproar.
