Someone - methinks Deitmar, but I might be wrong - posted a very intelligent and soooo true thing about how rockstars or celebrities (at least some of them) seem so "normal" and down to earth and then they disappear in this cloud of charisma that brings them back to the God realm...
(Obviously the majority love to stay there even when they are not famous anymore and become pathetic).
Having met and known several more or less famous musicians, I can say this is absolutely true, but when they are "in the cloud" I have the impression that they are internally winking and saying "hey, this is still me, what you are seeing is all the showbiz mystique machine at work that makes me unreachable". We currently are friends of the excellent guitar player of an ultralegendary singer and keyboardist, and we have seen him playing dozens of times live, but when he visits us or we meet him at the farmers market he is the same sweet, approachable, down-to-earth guy who lives in our town.

I'm kind of thinking this is like how people have a work personality and an after work personality. For instance, Mrs. EQ thinks that at home, I'm a sweet, sensitive, caring goofball. But she has said I'm nothing like that guy when I'm at work; I kind of scare her when I'm working. I guess when you are working, you are who you need to be. When you are at home and with your friends, you are who you want to be. Make sense?

It's brilliant. A theme tune for the SC netters in true Feltis style and a response from the man himself. I'm well chuffed 4 you mate. U wont be forgetting today in a hurry!!

They should use the chorus for the SC net loop instead of the tulsa tango loop just until the flag is home and as for fitting it in to the live shows, well I dont know what to say!!

You are in the thoughts and conversations of our 3 leaders.

You're a SUPERSTAR rudeboy!!!!! :D

WOW EQ. That's the complete opposite of my (ex)husband. He was nice at work and not-so-nice at home.

HUGE THANKS to DM for "enabling" me to hear Bongo's fine anthem!
(Is there no end to your kindness??)

And KUDOS to Bongo for a very cool creative effort! And since Stewart likes it...does anything else really need to be said?

I just know I'm gonna be singing this one all day long!!

Have a pint or three and send the bill to SC.net...you deserve it :D
