Flag-Spotting / Give 'em hell in Hamburg, STEWART!!!
Speaking of "oy" -- NO Febreze or Lysol or whatever on the Flag please. We have no idea what it will do to the paint or ink -- and I don't even want to know. Err on the side of caution, please, and just let it be.
Boss, I didn't mean NOW. I meant after the tour. Maybe a nice sent of Fresh Linen?
Given that the idea is that somehow the guy gets the flag perhaps it would be politic to PLAY DOWN the stinkiness and possibility of infectious disease, hmm?

Honestly, it is in really good nick. We were amazed at how 'unsoiled' it was at the weekend. Still think it needs a radio collar though.....
Heh. I've said from the very beginning how this will be the rattiest, most lovingest, most disease-ridden memento that Fiona has ever banned from coming near the children.

But the reason that it looks so nice is cuz it had a face-lift before heading to Europe. In addition to its multiple plastic bags and extra-careful handling, it crossed the pond with a fresh coat of paint. Does wonders.

ETA:

I'm ignoring you, bella.

Smudge, not sure what the start-time for Hamburg was, but they've certainly left the stage by now.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

You know dafttart had anti bacterial handwash with her on Saturday? :D

I know you lovingly restored it dear. What I meant was that it was frighteningly clean.

The flag saw Stewart.
Stewart couldn't see the flag.
But here it is:

good show, great audience
the first time I thought they considered another encore, because the audience was so loud...

Oh well, at least the flag saw Stewart.

Thank you for the picture, Dietmar. I am glad you and the audience had a good time. :D

Don't be disappointed, PFan -- there really wasn't a chance in hell. But even if Stewart couldn't see it, the Flag was out there for him anyway. That's what matters.

Great pic, Dietmar! Thanks for checking in, and safe travels!
