SUNDAY: TWICKENHAM MEET-UP

SUNDAY: TWICKENHAM MEET-UP

Postby Hannaha on 09 Sep 2007 10:01

Good morning my lovelies! Who didn't sleep a wink?!

So, we'll be in The Cabbage Patch from 2pm today, out the back in the garden with a little green SC.NET sign. If you look at the Twickers thread you can see photos of us all so you'll know who to look for. I'm the skinny redhead in obscene shorts so I'm easy to spot! I'll be there until at least 5, probably later.

Mister Gradenko - it would be lovely to see you if you can make it today.
Dietmar - we can't wait to meet you.
Samburu Sunset - Hope you're not going to be too jetlagged!
Feralkid - Hope you and your girlfriend made it safely back to Hounslow last night and Scotland today
Mary - Where were you yesterday?!

See you all in a few of hours! Hx

Good morning, Hannah.

Does 2 and-a-half hours constitute a sleep or a nap???? Hope you managed to grab more zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's than me.

Really looking forward to meeting the sc.net crew again today. I'll be down to the CP at about 5ish with the birthday boy and a couple of others, so I hope to catch you there. Very excited - again
Cheese comes as standard. From Ben Hur to Borough Market, we've got it covered.

My face hurts. Too much smiling. And I think I'm going to need intravenous coffee. Hannah is there anywhere round the CP that knows how to make espresso properly?

I aim to be there at 2pm. I'll call you when I'm 10 minutes away (possibly after I've grabbed that coffee).

I'm soooooooo tired. Do you think Mr Copeland will be able to see the flag if I'm sitting down? :?

Will be popping into pub between 4-5. Hope you're all there. Cant wanit for the show. Finally I get to see 2 of my heros in the flesh and playing in their group. Unbelievable. Sting will be cool also.

Hannah, is there anywhere to park near the pub as I guess you live in Twickenham. I'm sure I'll get something sorted if not, as I'm taking a bit of a gamble with it but should be alright being Sunday and all.

Won't be drinking much as I've gotta drive back to Worthing after show but should be high off the excitement. That'll be enough.

Hope to see you all there. If not have a great time as I will.

Take care shipmates.

Eeek. Parking is a bit of a nightmare I believe. Might be better parking somewhere you can get a shuttle bus or train back to. I'll go peer at a map - back in 5

Dafttart - is there any unrestricted on street parking near you? Looks to me that anything within walking distance of the stadium is closed off....

You can park for free anywhere west of Twickenham Green - no permit parking up there and it's only a ten minute walk to The Cabbage Patch. The rest of Twickenham will be tricky/expensive! Bring your A-Z and you'll be fine!

I'll give it a go. It is Sunday so single yellows should be alright as well but just like everywhere in this mean, tight country most of it will be permits but I'm optimistic.

If I dont see any of you before, will you be meeting up afterwards to say goodbyes?? Gotta sign that flag the mighty SC!!
