THE POLICE mistery lyrics was finally discover!!!

Postby Jose on 03 Sep 2007 14:05

I just discover, with the valuable help of "Georgygirl", those mysterious words in panish at the begining of the song "Regatta de blanc"...

What Sting said is:

"Caramba", "Arriba", "Un Cerveza" ... Aya ya ya ya ya ayyyy!!!

Spanish, I mean mexican words, at the begining of "Regatta de blanc" finally was found by "Georgygirl"... For me was difficult to understand the last word, but she explain me "Un cerveza" was that word, because is a usually way to said, by mexicans, a cup of beer and after they says the "Aya ya ya ya ya ayyy!!! 8)

Heh! I always wondered what the third phrase was - now that you mention it, it does sound like "cerveza". I think he says "Dos cervaza" though, rather than "Un cerveza".

On a similar subject, I've always wondered what the spoken words were at the end of "It's alright for you" (just before the song begins the fade out). Always sounded like Stewart saying something, but I don't think it's possible to ever hear it clearly enough.

 woow.... that's why I regularly thinks Sting says "Donsto pesa" (that meaning nothing in spanish or any other language)

So, is "Un Cerveza" or "Dos Cerveza"? in that way he missed to say "Por Favor" (Please) before saying "Aya ya ya ya ya yayyyy" !!!

Uhmmm I neet to put my headphones right for "It's allright for you" !!

Do you have latinamerican roots??? or you are an spanish reader or an spanish speaker?

No, but I did visit Spain last year, so I had to learn all of the most important words, like cervaza, vino tinto, etc. :D

It does sound like Dos to me too.

Now if we could only know the words to Masako Tanga.

As for the end of It's Alright For You...The world may never know.
This really is the place where dreams come true.
