In the never-bloody-ending Flag Saga . . .

Just got a text from sockii -- it seems that Vespapod will be appearing in a news segment about DragonCon on CNN some time today. And he was interviewed WEARING A YELLOW FLAG T-SHIRT.

They think it will be one of the general news segments that will repeat throughout the day. If anyone can get it on tape, that would be fabulous. (I don't have cable, so I can't.)

Hmm. I'll see what I can do. I just Tivo'ed CNN. It will record for an hour. I can then capture V's segment (if it appears in that hour) and convert to an MP4. I'd then have to send the file to someone as I don't know how to post a video (unless someone tells me how).

May have to try later as well as I notice they are doing live coverage of Sen. Craig right now (that's a weird story)

Anything anyone might be able to capture on Tivo or a plain ol' VCR would be awesome -- not only because it's a flag t-shirt but also so that we can capture it for sockii and vespa.

I'm on it. It took me about 45 minutes to get home after sockii's APB, so I don't know if I've already missed it. I'm recording both CNN and CNN headlines news just to be safe.

I haven't seen it yet on CNN. The Sen. Craig announcement is monopolizing the news this morning. I've been jumping back and forth between CNN and CNN Headline News.

Nothing in my first Tivo'ed hour. Lots of Sen. Craig. Lottery winner. Vandalized sand castle. But no yellow flag shirt.

They had a report about people who waste their time at work on facebook. How soon before they do a piece on people who waste time at work on SC.net? :lol:

I've got my computer with a tv tuner card running tivo-like software capturing the CNN feed and my DVD recorcder is capturing the CNN Headlines News Feed. If it's on CNN, I should have it up on Youtube within half an hour of it airing if I happen to be watching it when it happens.

Yeah, like the lame Jeannie Moos time killer I just had to sit through. They could have run the DragonCon report then instead of her overplayed segments.
