The Luck of Post 777

Heh. Thanks for the thought, EQ. That was sweet. (And you, too, IndyGirl.) I'll just be happy for the Flag to survive.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

"Nobody wished for peace, love and understanding?"
[Aspiring Miss America Valley Girl's voice]: OMG, totally! World Peace!

As for the Backstage Pass for the Floozies, I see one of them running in the opposite direction screaming NOOOOOOOOOOO....and knocking Andy out in the process. Disappears in the night looking for Valium.

THe Pass falls on the floor. [~~~~~] notices it, picks it up and hangs it around her neck, with a satisfied smile, striding backstage.

(20) That the unplugged show goes off well, with the guys doing interesting versions of songs that they are not doing on tour (how cool would Does Everyone Stare or Darkness sound acoustically?)
(21) That some of us SC.nutters get a chance to be present for the taping of said acoustic show
There is no bigger gong.

That wouldn't be me knocking Andy out would it? I could never live with myself if I impaired his guitar playing in any way.

True Story: If I had gone to June 9th Police show in Denver instead of June 10th, I could have had a backstage pass. But one of my best friends decided she had to get married that same evening so I had to make a choice. I picked my friend over Stewart. I'm sorry Stewart, I guess it wasn't meant to be. :(

As much as I'd like to see the Police come back through my city again, I think I'd rather have Stewart have a nice long vacation with his family after the tour (Colorado's nice). And then get back with Oysterhead. For DiveMistress and me. 8)

No, no, shyv, that would be me. I am taller than Andy (not that it takes much) and would probably not even see him while running away, hence imagining bumping him. I remember how small he was at the show. Tiny. really. I know how you would bow down to his Telecaster and probably offer to polish it! :D

There are dark forces at work in my psyche when something actually becomes "feasible". I know I have been sabotaging myself many times. Asking things the wrong way. Letting my silent fears grip me (OMG am I quoting The Newcastle Bard?)...loads of things best left unsaid.
I have been reading enough here to understand that luck helps those who dare.

That if they cannot play Churchill Downs again, that they visit anyway for the Derby. Agreed, by the way, it was a spectacular venue and great weather and how about that Fiction Plane show after the show? Way cool.[/quote]

WE MISSED IT! :x Oh well. I try to tell myself the place was probably so packed that it would have been miserable. It WAS miserable...wasn't it??

Oh yes, and I wish that...every U.S. American person would be able to find the U.S. on a map. I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because uh, some people out there in our nation don't have maps.

So yeah, I wish that every U.S. American could find America on a map, and for every U.S. American in our nation to have a map.

And that's my wish. My other wish. :D

Girl, I think that would be 20 mg WITH a mimosa (I can drink that, the amount of alcohol in it is ridiculous) and it would barely keep me from shaking - My tolerance is very high. I lost that mellow feeling. Should never have entered the Software Business.

In need of luck, Humanity.
In need of 777, but not just luck, it takes work.

This is from Mike Garson, long time pianist with David Bowie and friend.

"No One Really Wants to Be Mistreated"
Examples that I have noticed are being:
disrespectful
unkind
arrogant
nasty
smug
dismissive
condescending
yelled at
antagonistic
made to feel small
and on and on
we all have made these errors but never too late to upgrade and reboot!
JUST REVERSE ALL OF THE ABOVE.
LOVE
MIKE

Have some question I'd like to ask, and I don't feel the forum is the most appropriate place.
