Here you go guys - two pictures. The first one is me and Policerule's cousin Nina - on our 8th grade graduation day, May 1984. This is taken immediately after the ceremony outside of the church. We are both sobbing. I'm the one with the bad perm and the huge glasses.

The second one is a group of us at the party in the gym afterwards. Nina is the one with the long hair.

The resolution is so poor because I have no scanner, so I took a picture of the picture with my cell phone and emailed it to myself

PR, feel free to share these with your cuz!

it's very interesting for me to say the least. although i don't know if i ever met schmaff (probably did), but the fact that i knew right away that this person was talking about the same performance of "roxanne"... the nuns gave it away. i'm like, hmmmm, pennsylvania, nuns, roxanne, 7th grade - HAS to be someone who was at the same place!

Hey guys! I've just read your posts - how funny that you know each other!

I grew up in Dallastown and my dad went to St. Joe's! Judging from your pictures, we must be about the same age.

And, I would also love to get to the Philly concert.. but will have to do it solo because my husband already thinks I am insane. He doesn't get the whole Police thing. I'm reduced to only one conversation about the Police per day so he doesn't think I am completely nuts. It's usually a Police trivia fact of the day... I think yesterday's was, "Want to hear the Police trivia for today? Did you know Courtney Cox dated Ian Copeland, Stewart's brother, for 3 years?" It's so sick that I even know that, isn't it?

If you have any tips about getting tickets, please share. We paid over $200 per ticket in Hershey and were too far away. I'll only go again if I can get sprayed with sweat.

YES! i won't be happy until those heavenly drops fall on me! just one!

cool chris... i'll let you know if i come across any ticket info. dallastown is part of york right? it's east of rt. 83 right? like if you take queen st. south?

anyway, both of my little brothers went to st. joe's too. this is so funny!! i was lucky enough to have escaped catholic school because my mother moved me out of york at the age of 7 or i would have gone there too!

RE: The Outsiders
I'm almost embarassed to say it but some time ago I was cast as Ponyboy Curtis in our grade five radio play production of The Outsiders. I still get the gears about that one

Yes, arecev, it is I - lost in the real world of work and board (bored) meetings. SNORE!!! I did manage to sneak in today and get my daily dose of Stewart love, though.

Still looking for those all-elusive grand tickets for Philly. I'll keep you all posted.

Hey Arecev, does everyone here know how ANDY-WHIPPED you are??????

Hey Schmaffy! I met you at Hershey, too! You had all your Police ephemera (like that word? I learned it on Antiques Roadshow, I'm such a geek). I actually have some pictures of you. I posted the link to them on the police site, but don't know if you already saw them. Check them out!

And I think there are a lot of us ladies who had all the same crushes and it's so funny to read about it. It just brings back all the memories of being a teenager. I love it.

Yep, foonation it is. =)

I also have a little video of you and others watching behind the gates at the soundcheck at Hershey. If you go to google video and type in "foonation" in the search, you should see all my videos of that evening. There are quite a few. Of course, I am a million miles away from the stage, but the sound is pretty good for coming from my digital camera.

Again, welcome to the board!
