Nearly 25 years on and the Police are back! As Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers hit the UK on their reunion tour TOTP2 celebrates with an hour of their greatest hits.

Is anyone able to record this one to DVD or at least hi quality VHS??

I'll set my sky to record it first......

I have to wait till it's a week away as sky only has a weeks advanced info......

Then it'll have to go on good old VHS as I don't have a DVD recorder........

I'lll ask arounnd at work and let you know....

thanks, if we only get a vhs i'll gladly arrange the transfer to dvd.
of course i'm presuming here they are not just gonna be showing video clips, but actual in studio TOTP lip synchs etc....

I guess it's a mixture of the vids and studio sets. TOTP2 usually have some bits of useless info running across the screen too!

its on 10.30 pm monday night !! with solo hits as well !!?? so that means 20 mins police , 40mins Stingo i guess !!

well, i think it will be all police, but maybe with the standard video clips as well as in studio lip-synchs. at best, i am hoping for a comprehensive re-viewing of all their lip synchs for TOTP, that would be awesome, as many of them are only in circulation in crummy, highly genned vhs transfers.... looking forward to seeing what happens!

Sorry TJ - I was reading but don't have the technical nouse to help! I am looking forward to watching it though. Always nice to see clean versions of the scratchy stuff we've put up with for 20 odd years.

Just a thought since BBC and ABC use the same programmes

you can request programmes so i am going to request the police and pointing out that they are touring here

at the moment the site is down but i will keep checking and sent a request when i can and if a lot did the same just maybe they will play it since they are touring next year

Only an hour to go now... I'll record it on skyplus and I may be able to do you a VHS copy TJ7 but can't guarantee quality unfortunately. If anyone has digital recording capabilities you'd be better off with them...
