Bongoboy, I am not hard rock lady...I am sweet rock lady.

Well, maybe hard and sweet rock lady.

In fact I was going to see Van Halen, but then was AC/DC and really impressed me, the man with his guitar.
Nice show, and beeing honest, the AC/DC music sounded much better than Van Halen's. 8)

Nirvana was my second favorite band (after The Police).
I've discovered them in 91.

I also like independent bands like:
- The Melvins (one of Kurt Cobain's fav' group)
- Fugazi
- Shellac
- Nomeansno

Mainstream bands like:
- The Beatles
- Blur
- new wave bands of the 80's (mainly the singles)

More "obscure" bands:
- King Crimson
- Magma (they're french and they kick ass !!!)

A lot of indie french bands !

And also Serge Gainsbourg, a famous french composer and singer, died in 91.

You mean Angus Young? He used to wear like a school-boy and he seems a dwarf but he's really a tough guitarist!

D'you know Magma, Al ? :o Glad to know it !!
I'm not very fond of progressive rock (Marillion, Rush etc...), but these two bands are different for me. It remind me some "weird" things I can hear in actual indie music.

I need to check out Magma - I admit I like progressive quite a bit, personally, and I've never heard of them.

On a tangent, are there any other System of a Down fans here?

sockii, I'd like to send you one or two mp3 of Magma.
It's sad we can't do this through this forum.
It would be great to share music or pictures...
