Thanks for the report, AZ! Glad you had a good time. I can't wait. I'm glad to hear they're playing lots of stuff from the new album. I personally love it. There isn't one song that doesn't connect with me emotionally and the music is the perfect balance between fresh and familiar.

P.S. Whaddya mean you don't care for "Spindrift?" Duuude!!!
I don't know, that song just does not "do it for me". I too love the new album and the new stuff comes off great live. Spindrift just did not connect with me. As Neil would say "we can only blow the way the wind blows". Where and when is your show? Fill us in with your review. Have a great time.

Chicago, September 8th. Tinley Park, to be more precise. The First Midwest Bank Ampitheater, formerly Tweeter Center, formerly the World Music Theater.

I've seen several tours there. The acoustics totally suck, but were evidently good enough when Rush included a handful of the Test For Echo show's set on the Different Stages Live disc. My wife and I are somewhere on the Chicago IL tracks. We were on our honeymoon. I'll never forget Geddy yelling "Oh, Chicago!" during "Spirit of Radio."

So that was my 15 seconds of fame. I'm somewhere on a live Rush album!

Tinley Park, I grew up there. Then we moved to Orland Park and out to AZ in 84. Test For Echo is what really got me back into Rush, great album. Have fun and like I said report back about the show.
