Don't worry BB we'll get out chance one day son. Checked out your songs on myspace dude. Liked em. 8) 'Sorrow's cool. Well produced. Liked the bass playing. Did you put down all instruments. If so good for you man. Maybe one day you'll let me do a version of it for your ears first only. Merlin's a cool customer isn't he?

Peace man.

Hey Thanks a lot !

Not many people check it out because it is a 1997 CD.

I play all the instruments, except when you hear really good leads, that is my friend Steve Davey a great guitarist here in Toronto from Belfast originally. I recorded it in my own 16 track half inch tape studio. I still have that equipment but I use a Mac with Pro Tools now.

I am now working on a Reggae vibe with an acoustic Folk,Country thing. When I drummed reggae over the years I started to like the connection to say a Bob Dylan song...that with a "one drop" drumbeat...and a little accent on the bass, instant reggae song. Seems really obvious but ya don't hear many Country Reggae vibe songs. What I mean is the acoustic song with real lyrics..(Dylan) and then the cool beat n bass on top ! YEA!

I like all real instruments, I use to fiddle with some Midi and sequence stuff, when you have no band it's the way you lean. Now I just wanna play real...it's hard to jump up on stage with just a guitar and harmonica and your voice...and do reggae, country tunes, heh, heh. I think it's kinda cool though.

So hopefully soon you will hear the new stuff...kinda similar but I think it's better. It's been ten years it had better be! heh, heh.

Thanks for listening, it really means a lot...and Merlin is the coolest person, I mean dog ever!

I wanna hear some of your stuff too...I know you are probably very good, I am not a technical player (I'm sure you heard) but I can sometimes find the feel...I appreciate the comment on my bass..I love finding the groove and now I have a beautiful Fender P Sting replica bass, the sound is unbelievable!

I am typing too much, sorry...on music I just don't shut up.

Look forward to your tunes and Thanks again for the kind words.

BB.

What's happening guys????????????????

Flippin' 'eck, I'm here in London pacing the corridors like an expectant parent. Then again, if that was the case I wouldn't be pacing the corridor, but lying in some bed and screaming in agony, but you get my drift!!!!

Sorry BB for not getting back sooner, been busy sorting some stuff out mate.

I enjoyed your last post man and am looking forward to hearing your new material.

I'm hoping to get my stuff on the net before Xmas but unfortunately my recording equipment is limited to the computer only but I can still achieve pretty decent recordings with the old software I use. I'm like you mate I've been using MIDI and computers to pi55 about with and get to grips with recording, over the years but like you said mate, its how you learn.

My equipment includes a fender japanese jazzmaster in which I bought recently (I've been playing since I was 11 and it's my 1st decent guitar!), an encore bass (urghh!!) which I've used mainly for learning but I can now play slap and getting with it (not been playing for 2 long), an old zoom GFX pedal which is old and crap but still does the job, line 6 delay modeller which is pretty cool and a cry baby 535Q which is a beast, all in BOSS pedal board. Hopefully will be able to fit a load of BOSS effects in there soon but money is tight at the mo (just bought my first house and doing it up)so I'll make do with what I've got and get it on there. I've got a fender semi-acoustic which is OK but a bit battered now (its seen some action). Got a Korg trinity keyboard which was given to me but dont use much now (only really used the keyboard with MIDI voices on the computer). But the albums probably gonna be acoustic. Just bare bones but maybe just have vocals with electric with effects. We'll see. Also must get a Roland guitar synth. Need that Secret Journey, Burn for you effect. It's just mesmorising

Funny enough I've been seriously thinking of moving to Canada and I've got quite alot of family in Toronto (it's a cool place was ther in '97 for a family wedding). I'm hoping to convince my Mrs to emmigrate but first we'll have to check it out but when and if we go, we'll have to meet up mate.

Dont worry man, I talk to much too but it's good to talk isn't, especially if people have the same interests. 8)

Hope you read this post man as it's a little late.

Cheers BB,

Franco

Now I KNOW you can do better than that, Stewart.

(So be sure to wear good running shoes. Just in case.)
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
