Let your Team Copeland Flag fly!!! (Flag-Bearers wanted.)
Actually - come to that, I've got loads of leave to take. I'd be happy to collect it in person :D
Believe me, Kate -- I'm not loving that last bit either, but it's all I've got without an actual person to carry the Flag from one place to the other. So don't be teasing me about taking a drive if you don't mean it.

I'll send you an email -- I'd be happy to hear of alternative ideas if you've got 'em.

Honey - no joke. Put me in touch with the legend that is Dietmar, I'll take 16th off work (booking it tomorrow), and go find him and that bit of green fabric, and get it to Kimmy before she heads Wales-wards.

Honest. I feel a certain responsibility here. Kimmy stepped in when I realised I had low visibility seats at Cardiff. I owe her.

Oh. And I'll be doing it by public transport. But generally that works ok...

Kate, I just emailed you before having seen that last post. We can chat off-board. But I want to publicly tell you that you should NOT mess with your job for this Flag. However, regardless of whatever you do or don't do,

I FUCKING ADORE YOU.

xoxo,
Kel

Blushing here. I'm not messing with my job - don't worry. We get heaps of holiday over here, and as it turns out I'm in charge of who gets which holiday so I'm no martyr

As they say in the esure advert.... 'calm down'.....

Dietmar and I had it covered........

I was going to scoot up to Manchester and collect from his hotel.....
I get free travel as far as Birmingham then it's not too much further.....

However...

Smudge I'm not sure where you live.....

I'm at work at the moment (Boo!!) and don't have access to my emails, but when I get home I'll join in and we can sort it out no problem.

DM don't fret, little flaggy will be safe.... Aaaahhh!!!

Aw shucks Kimmy, and I was looking at a great excuse for a city break :-)

Think of me as backstop. I may just go up there anyway for the hell of it - used to live there and any excuse for a trip to the Yang Sing and the Curry Mile. In fact, now the little worm is turning in my brain, I'll probably go anyway.

I'm happy to do it, but absolutely don't want to stick my oar in :D

Animal, you're a loon.

Bongoboy called it. Every day during my purgatorial punishment for a paycheck, I have to rely upon people whose cluelessness and dissociative dumbness makes me weep for the human race.

DM's furious intelligence dwarfs my mere familiarity with entertaining trivia. She raised my standards a decade ago, and I haven't looked back.
