Amsterdam meetup: What's the plan?

I know the SuperCat plans to arrive on the 12th. I'm getting there the 13th in time for the first show and both of us will be at both shows. (Alas, Hubby came up with alternate plans for our anniversary and kiboshed my Twickers dreams...but I'm still washing up in Blighty on the 11th to run around for a couple days. Email Hannah or me if you want to join us at the Hope & Anchor. )

Who's in? Anyone know the area near Amsterdam ArenA and want to come up with a venue?

I think the ArenA is to the Southeast of the city. Not positive though.
Don't know what's around, but there's always the coffeeshops in the Red Light District . We could find Roxanne and be in *high* spirits. Shiiiit. As much money as I'm paying for these shows, I'm not attending impaired!

Anywho, I'm up for any kind of get together. I'll be at both shows.
Tripadvisor forum suggested to meet in rembrantplein area before and then go to the ArenA. Someone else said there are pubs on Arena Blvd but doesn't know how good they are personally.
It's a soccer stadium so there have to be some pubs around. I'll keep searching.
