Parking at Hollywood Guitar Center

Parking at Hollywood Guitar Center

Postby TheEqualizer on 14 Aug 2007 15:47

I've never been to the Hollywood Guitar Center. Anyone know what the parking situation is like? Is there at least some free parking spots? If so, about how many? Meters? If so, gotta let lots of change. Good parking ramps or lots near by?

Fall Out Mike; are you out there?

parking can certainly suck....

there is a lot behind the store, albeit no too big...

bring extra change and some comfy shoes.

**** NO PARKING ON SUNSET BL AFTER 4PM- YOU WILL BE TOWED ****

not to sound harsh, but I've seen a million cars get towed- it's SO not worth the hassle.....

Thanks for your quick reply. I will bring lots of change, and, like all SCnutters, I wil have my orthotics in my Chuck Taylors (they are not pink but green and yellow). See you at the event.

Like Mike infers, the parking lot in back is often full all the time on a NORMAL day of business (i.e., with no celebrity artist visit), and on special event days it's damn near impossible.

As a former resident of Hollyweird, I might recommend trying to find parking by circling the side streets that run north/south around the area of Guitar Center. But watch out for the "no parking at certain times" street signs. I swear, those meters maids will be on you like white on rice, about five minutes after you park illegally.

Well ... they may not be Andy-honoring pink Chucks, but at least they're cucumber-and-lemon Chucks! Got a pair of green shorts and a yellow t-shirt to go with?

Provided I can find a parking space, I'll be there wearing a CHA shirt, KK button, pink Converse, a black and yellow headband, handcuffs, a red light, tube socks, green and white shorts, an English Beat shirt, a blue-gray zippered jumpsuit, a pair of red pointy boots and foaming at the mouth. Oh wait...some of those are false. ;)
