Equa, SHOUT that fucking CHA!!!!
We had nothing to lose, we have nothing anyway. We can only concentrating on the Universe sending Stewart a Message (without a bottle)......
I wish I were Weasel. He can play bass better than I can. He could weasel his way in. He is a man and has the strength of a man.
He does not get emotional and verklempt at the thought of not making it

Kaly, it's an unfair comparison. I can be blasé about it simply because it's my job, every single day, to coordinate advertising, endorsements, and events with manufacturers, retailers, media, and musicians. In other words, I know that if I want to, I can find a way to meet Stewart sometime. If this was my only chance, I'd be much more unhappy about it.

Ironically, I find that 80% of the artists I do the most work with aren't necessarily those that I really have any strong feelings about, and a good 20% of them I actively dislike, so you have to take the good with the bad.

And I'm sure you play bass just fine. :)

I think maybe I have a weird compromise.

Is there any way to get a small COLOUR pic of the flag...then get some colour photocopies made....maybe 5 x 7 kinda small, attach (cardboard backing) them to popsicle sticks...like MINI-FLAGS !

just to show the vibe!, it would be funny...you could hand them out to people in line...he would look out to a sea of little flags!!!

heh,heh might scare him.

OK soryy for the hairbrained idea...it's Friday nd I'm freaking out !

(Check with DM ! FIRST)

Have fun weasils.

Weasel,

I do understand, it's just work for you. I have met many people in my life, thanks to my family ties, which people would give an arm and a leg to meet and I didn't give a damn about. Especially musician and writers.

I still have to find the strength to acknowledge that not all I want is possible and that Stewart knows he has the most dedicated fans in the world.

P.S. If I played bass fine, I'd be in a band or a recording studio as a sessionwoman and not working with software...

Well hell, if I were all that shit hot, I'd have people interviewing and writing articles about ME, rather than the other way around. :D

Not true Kalypso....it's just getting out there...confidence...comes with time and getting out there....did I mention get out ther...anyway.

I am going through it too...trying to play an acoustic guitar and sing with a harmonica in a rack...I'm a flippin drummer for Jeebas sake !!!!

but when I am ready I will jump up on an open stage and make an asshat of myself until I do good.

don't be down on yourself....as for Stew...never say never...life is a sneaky surprising thing.

I always think of that line in Shawshank redemtion: "either get busy living or get busy dying...that's damn right!"

It's true...get BUSY Baby !

we gotta support each other...I was down the last couple of weeks..and you folk ...held me up...Thanks.

Cheers.

BongoDeepakChopraO (you are so much better than Dr. Phil),
Thanks.
I meant to answer your message and I am sorry if I could not do before. You are really a great person, and I am very thankful for your words and your encouragement.

I am going through many things that have no business being discussed on a public site, let's just say a maelstrom of events. I would like to say that being here has helped me as you did, but, apart from a bunch of wonderful people that I would really like to get to know better in real life, it heightened my sense of alienation, which never leaves me.

To say it with The Guy in The Ripped T-Shirt..I am an alien, I am a legal alien, and this feeling is not only confined to bureaucracy.

Anyway, this is just for thanks.

Looking forward to Tuesday.

K
