Let your Team Copeland Flag fly!!! (Flag-Bearers wanted.)

Is it weird that I'm sitting here on the sidelines just giddy with anticipation over how the Europe schedule will work out? Even without having anything to do with it?

I guess it's just Flag Fever...

Heh. Just wait til you see it, sockii. It's a beauty to behold, if I do say so myself. 8)

(And it's all thanks to Giovanni and Dietmar.)

Just so that last message of mine doesn't get missed on the previous page, here it is again:

Thanks to those who have confirmed for Europe. As for the rest of you -- and I say this with only love in my heart --

Still waiting for a couple more responses, and then I'll be able to post the full European Flag Schedule.

FYI to NORTH AMERICAN LEG #2: I've emailed some of you folks regarding some possible changes to the fall schedule.

Thanks, everyone.

Yeah, I'm the flag bearer for the Stockholm show. I'll be at both but I have to ship the flag to the next person on the 30th eventhough I'm going to that gig as well. The flag schedule is really important! :D

Just lurking, k. It's Monday, after a fantabulously stupid day at work, and I'm administering anesthesia to dull the sorrow.

I hate to say this, but I'm hankering to see Stewart perform again.

The flag itself seems like a very odd thing to me at this point. Can't explain why, either. It's here, waiting for its next assignment, taunting me (I've never been to Europe). Glad it's working, though. Heraldic coloration fulfills its purpose; recognition at a distance.

And, not that anyone asked, but...

Beer of the moment: Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale. Damned good.

I could get behind a booze of the moment thread easily.

Aahh

You know we have some fabulous bitters in the UK..... Some from little breweries that only produce a few bottles a year......

Then there's the beer festivels they hold in Germany......

You could bring the flag with you.......

I'd know better than to bring the flag with me to a brewery event.

I started posting my "drink of the moment" on a Trekkie forum thread called "Quark's Bar," where nobody ever mentioned what they were drinking while posting on it.

For Andy's Sake, don't you want to brag about the great stuff you're drinking, even if it's just Trader Joe's Bay Blend coffee?

Beer of the moment: Southern Tier India Pale Ale (Lakewood, NY).

Mr. Moe, I appreciate both your appreciation of medieval heraldry and its social context and your taste in fermented, brewed, malted beverages. Both of your beers of the moment sound fabulous. Do you make your own?

Beer is hard. I once helped out with a friend's 5-gallon batch of homemade stout. Didn't care for it. Too much prep. And homemade stout too often winds up tasting like homemade dish water.

I used to make my own honey wine, which is something I've been meaning to get back to. Slightly less prep, and the whole house smelled like fruit soup while it was cooking. The smell of beer mash cooking doesn't appeal to me quite as much. Take a brewery tour some time, and you'll smell what I mean.

<*snicker*> Next time I need to humor Mr. Moe, I am so going to steal this line.

Go start a Booze of the Moment thread, honey -- I've got a business to run here.
