Sorry - I just have to be sure - you do realize that's Andy singing "Mother", right?[/quote]
No I did NOT!!!!
Are you sure?!? Now I don't know if it even funnier OR creepier!!
Are you SURE Andy was singing.......'Cause its really funny if Mr Sting was, especially after Sting's comment about Stewart's chisled or rugged handsomeness in Broken Music.....hmmmmm....
I like Sting WITH The Guys. His ropey baslines and kinda' angular top register singing style, that he used more w/ The Police framework, sets off what SC & AS put out there. Les Claypool bass, amazing as it can be, would've cluttered things up a bit.
I am 44, and was end of h'school/beginning of univ. when the Sting Storm hit, to me it seemed at the expense of that spikey rhythmic trio that I was 'woke-up' by. So, any acidity on my part is a remnant of THAT.
Hey, Mr. Sting IS the Voice of the Police.
BUT Stewart is The Heart. Oo-oo, and The Legs and The Face(for me at least)
Now I feel really creepy for saying that about a Dad AND a Husband! Whew!!!!
