Craig, what's your deadline on this? I'd love to help out with some thoughts on the two shows, but it'll take some time for me to get to it.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Well Craig,

Before listing to this I was very skeptical, but you are right "They Rocked"
every song was incredible. And Wrapped was infectious I wish they would play it like that again. I never knew this recording was out there you could tell they were "playing for keeps" not to be upstaged by U2...lol

Thanks for sharing your insights on this....wish I could get a cleaner recording of this show.
and if sometimes i can't seem to talk you know this blackborad lacks a piece of chalk

I will be willing to send the master to someone who can transfer it onto a link and return the video back to me (and stick it on DVD), so everyone can view the footage to understand what i mean.

As I have to do a DVD transfer in the coming weeks anyway, i would be happy to get this done. i'll happily upload the footage to the right places, and make sure it's transferred at the best quality settings....

tj7. Checked out your site. Looks cool. Too bad I don't have anything to trade  By the way, did you see that it looks like tpconcerts appears to have been taken down? :D

I think I never heard that material before, just The Police at Atlanta Georgia, but in 1984, and from there I really love the song Can't Stand Losing You/Regatta de Blanc...
I've just posted the Master VHS to a good friend of mine who is a U2 and Police collector who specialises in this. She will transfer this onto DVD and place a link on this site so you can all watch it. I might stick it up on YouTube too.

The footage is Roxanne and Messaage.

I will keep you all posted.

Best

Craig
ok. sounds good - will there be an upload of the footage in all of its uncompressed glory (ie DVD format) at TTD or dime....?

My short review of Atlanta 86 as requested:

This is one of those one off note perfect performances where the band knows where the song is going, including the jams!

i love how they played Wrapped, Roxanne and Message, simply amazing performances like i have not heard it again. I would go on to say these tracks are the best the band ever performed them!

One of my fave and most played Police shows..... Its worth it to make it available for every Police fan!

Cheers, K.
